"That sounds fun, but will you have women only or will you invite some men as well?" And what kind of gift would you like? I must get you something now we are friends," Joanna decided.

"Oh I don't know, anything will do, a dress or a nice perfume. I'm sure we like the same things. IT does not matter too much so long as we all get together. I was thinking of only us ladies, which men do you think we should invite? I think it would spoil things if we had to worry about men listening to our gossip or trying to take advantage of us as we drink."

Joanna waved a hand in dismissal.
"Oh, it doesn't matter. I just thought it would be odd to have a party that is all women. Gossiping about men does sound rather fun so I'm quite happy with not inviting any men at all. What other ladies are you going to invite?"

"The Queen and Becca for starters as well as some of our friends from court. If you have anyone in mind let me know. I would prefer it to be a small affair. The drinks will be flowing, so that our tongues can be loosened." She smiled slyly. "There are a few amusing women that should attend."

"Perhapas Septa Aalina. She deserves a rest from minding my daughters. And..."
Joanna thought for a while.
"I will ask Daeron if he has sent for Calla yet. It would be good to get to know her better. I wis that Marianne were here else she would have been able to attend."

"Hm, is a septa allowed to drink?" Arya asked idley. "It would be interesting to have Calla and it is a shame that Marianne cannot be here but I don't really know much about her situation. Would it be fun if the servants were all handsome men?"

Joanna grinned.
"Of course it would. You could makae them be bare-chested too. Tha would be very pleasant."

"Okay, this will definately be fun. I just don't want things to go too over the top. Perhaps mostly handsome males but a few girl servants, but they'll be dressed in neat clothing. If you can think of anything else, let me know."

"You should think what food and drink to serve," Joanna told Arya. "Perhaps along a theme. That would be nice."

"Well I think we are certainly sick of Dornish Red, at least I know I am. So perhaps Arbor Gold or something more exotic for wine. I like sweets and fruits so perhaps there will be lots of light food, with perhaps some fish served along with fruit. I don't like feeling too full from meats and that."

"Nor I, and that sounds perfect. So much more ladylike than hunks of beef and pork. Arbor Gold would do very well, and summerwine of course."
Joanna stopped and grinned.
"You should have the castle cooks bake you a cake in the shape of Summerhall."

"Hm perhaps, have you ever been? I have only been there on several occassions briefly. It is my brother that is paying for this party so it might do good to honour him. Wear something pretty won't you."

I" always do," Joanna said with a grin. "And yes, I have visited Summerhall a few times. It's quite a pretty castle, worthy of your lady mother."

"I never knew her of course, but I am always told how great she was. I don't think I could ever live up to her. She seems more of a hero from a tale than a normal lady like me. Same with your lady mother, they must have had difficult lives."

"It would seem so, from what my mother told me," Joanna agreed. "Princess Alysanne, well, I think she was not as strong a personality as my mother but then she didn't have to be, because seh was the youngest sister. I do know that Mother entrusted her with a few important tasks that she could give to no other, so yes, your mother deserves her place in history. I remember Aunt Alysanne. She was very pretty and she had a good heart. Your father loved her well. I wish you could have known her."
