"Cassie pinched me!" Eleyna cried.

"Cassana!" Aalina exclaimed. "What have I told you! You do not touch your sister."
Aalina knelt to be at Eleyna's height. "Its alright Eleyna." She rubbed the red mark that was on her skin.
"Cassana apologise."

Joanna watched curiously, interested and pleased with Aalina's handling of the situation though they disagreed on the dancing.
"I wish I didn't have a little sister," Eleyna sobbed.
Cassana scowled.
"it's not fair. She's better than me at everything! I want to be good at stuff too."

"Cassana, I wasnt any good at alot of things when I was learning. You just need to spend a little time on it thats all. You have been getting better but you cannot take it out on others if it doesnt go your way! Now apologise."
She turned to Eleyna. "That isnt a nice thing to say Eleyna. All siblings have problems but youll be glad that your sister is there some day."

Cassana said nothing, just poked her tongue out at her sister. Joanna ordered her to apologise.

Aalina grabbed her before she could, holding her tight, but not tight enough to actually hurt her.
"Apologise Cassana." She said, iron in her voice. She looked as stern as her father had been with her when she had done something wrong all those years ago.

"I'm SORRY!" Cassana yelled, insincere.
Eleyna burst into tears again. Joanna hugged her firstborn and again watched Aalina to see what she would do.

She waited for the child.

Aalina smiled a little. "I knew you would say that."
She picked Cassana up and took her to her room, locking the door on her before returning.
"Eleyna are you alright?"

Eleyna looked up from Joanna's arms with a sob.
"It hurts less. Why's my sister so mean?"
"She's jealous of you because you're so clever," Joanna said.
She looked over Eeyna's head and whispered to Aalina "I don't think Cassana is a bad girl. it's just a phase, isn't it?"

"Because she is your sister, Im sure that your uncles and aunt were mean to each other and to your mother when they were Cassana's age, I know that they played tricks on your mother and I." Aalina said with a smile.
"Cassana is a good girl when she wants to be." She said to Joanna.
