"If you would be so kind as to translate." Corwyn said to the fat man. "We are here to speaking of the trouble that the Ironborn present."

The man repeated word for word what Euric had said. The Sea Lord spoke softly but determinedly, and then the Fat Man translated word for word,
"Under our law when a man's dog attacks a neighbor, it is the dog's owner who is responsible for the damages. Even if the dog turns on its owner. If I had a mad dog, I would make sure it was caged or dead before I would let it harm another."

"And it is this problem we are dealing with." Corwyn replied, his eyes on the Sealord. "You must know that her grace is deeply sorry for the damage that was caused, yet we have a problem. Through no fault of our known, mostly the deals made back in Baratheon times where the Ironborn received the Shield Islands, the size of the Iron Fleet has gotten out of control. We are unsure if we have enough ships to deal with this problem in it's entirity."

"Her Grace simply wishes for a friendship between the two of you." Corwyn spoke. "Merely the Narrow Sea separates the two yet it seems Westeros and Braavos are ever distance, though perhaps no fault of yourself or her Grace's." He licked his lips. "A friendship as I say, built on the combined will to see an enemy punished."

"Have I not made my position clear. We hold her responsible for her mad dog, and expect reparations."

"Milord, you expect her Grace to pay for damages her own enemy have done to you?" Corwyn asked, trying to keep the anger off his face and out of his tone.

"We expect her to pay for what her liege men have done. Did she herself not give Greyjoy his responsibility within the last several years?"

"It is easy to lay the blame at the feet of the Ruler of Westeros, yet her eyes may not be every at all times." Corwyn replied. "Her Grace may have given Greyjoy the responsibility, but he was the one who spat on it and decided to act like the vandalising pirate he is. Furthermore I doubt that had the fleet facing the Ironborn been larger the damage would not have been severe. Fourty ships is surely not all Braavos has to offer."

The Fat man translates, and then listens to the Sea Lord's reply, turning to the other two he says, "Does this man speak for this Rhaenys of Westeros?"

Alysanne nodded, holding back a sigh. "He does. But he also speaks for the realm." she said, addressing the Sealord.
