About an hour later Corwyn Storm arrived at the head of the group. "His Grace, Priness Alysanne Targaryen and his lordship Ivan Grandison, here to see the Sealord."

They are admitted into the palace and taken to a plush sitting room. And asked to wait. Time goes by slowly in the small room, and no one comes for the first hour. Then a servant arrives and asks if they are comfortable?"

"Comfortable enough, thank you," Grandison said. "Please forgive me if I have misunderstood your customs but I thought we had a set appointment?"

"The Sea Lord's earlier meetings have run long. It will be just a short time more." She curtsied, and left returning an hour later. "It is still going to be some time. Perhaps if you would like some tea?"

"Tea would be most welcome," Grandison answered.
He made a mental note to try the drink before Alysanne did, just in case anything untoward happened.

The servant left, and returned another hour later with tea. She served them, making light small talk, before leaving. Hours passed slowly in that room.

Lord Grandison sighed as he looked at his companions and drank tea and waited for the meeting to begin.

An hour later a new servant arrived and curtsied, "I am sorry, but after his afternoon meal the Sea Lord did not feel exceptional, and he has retired for the day. You may return on the morrow if you wish."
