" 'Sides tis always nice gitting a change of scenery." Baldric eyes one of the wenches before realizing that Lorenza would cut off his dick if she even thought he'd been with another woman.

"Oh yah?" Baldric says taking another swill of his ale, "I can see how a feller 'd git used to that. Every day a different den and a different pretty wench." Baldric smiled at the girl sitting on Scav's lap.

A knight arrives at the Avalon, his face mostly covered by his cloak's hood.
"Room for Ser Renald Flowers. Not sure how long I'll be staying." He tells whoever happens to be working.

A pretty red haired lass smiled, "I just need to know if the time is too be measure in hours or days hon?" She winked.

"Days, I think. Maybe weeks." The knight replies, then continues, "Don't suppose I could get a glass of wine, as well?" as he sits down at the bar. He pulls his hood back to reveal his face, rather plain, with a moustache and a scar from an old burn on his forehead.

The pretty girl smiled and nodded, "Of course ser. What do you desire tonight white, or red?" She brushed lightly at her red curls, blushing slightly.

"Red, of course." Flowers tells her, grinning. "Don't see how I could ever choose anything else."

The girl was none other than Dacey, and she smiled and poured for him. Her keen eyes observed him as she pushed the glass over, still smiling. Where had she seen this one before? Hadn't he been a captain in the army once, long ago? "There you are, ser," she said merrily. "I can mull the wine, if you like warm, or spice it for you. Though if you like warm and spiced, my girls could give you better value for your money, I daresay."

"Unmulled and unspiced will do, and the girls can wait." Flowers chuckles, "I prefer to exhaust my other options before spending my money, if you don't mind me saying."
He gets a curious look in his eye, and looks Dacey up and down. "I beg your pardon, my lady, but you seem a bit familiar to me. Have you always lived in King's Landing?"

"Born and bred, ser," she said proudly, as she always liked to say. "Though I've moved up since the days past, when I was a little lass in Flea Bottom." She smiled. "And you look rather familiar as well, though I can't recall your name, and I thought I knew all the Reach knights."

"Ser Renald Flowers." He tells her, dipping his head just a bit. "But I have not been in the Reach in some time, nor even in Westeros. More than ten years, I think. I don't suppose I've missed much."

"I'm Dacey," she grinned. "Mistress of the Avalon. I make it a point to serve my customers myself, when I can." At his remark, she said thoughtfully, "Oh, I don't know. We have had some excellent harvests despite the wars, farmers are absolutely waxing rich. And there is so much going on in the realm...Dorne rebelled and the Martells were destroyed, but they're still mutinous, those damn sandies..." Dacey scowled. "But the King got married last year, and we have a new little queen," she brightened. "The wedding, oh, it was so beautiful! There was a week of balls and parties all through the cities, and a grand tourney, and so much fun! The ciy recently almost got destroyed though," she said, growing sadder. "Foreign invaders."

"Much to miss in a decade. But cheer up," Flowers tells her, running his finger under her chin, "The city is safe now, is it not? You and yours are well. No sense in worrying about the past, better to enjoy today."
