She lifted the wine to her lips and asked, "I would be more likely to keep my position if I had information to report." She blushed, "I am sorry. I should not have... I am sorry." She drank deeply from the wine hiding her face from him.

Euric smiled. "Are you saying that you have not discovered anything worth reporting?"

"Well you have to understand you really do not do anything interesting. You hardly ever drink too much, and you have taken no lovers. I just clean up. They do not really need to my to spy on your duties because all of the intrigue of the Queen is handled by Thatcher and Milo. You are just the Administrator." Isabella paled, "I am sorry. I know you do an important job but it is not very sexy, just essential. I have made a fool out of myself haven't I?" She drank again from the wine.

"Far from it; you tell the absolute truth." Euric answered. "I must at least be a little more interesting than Selwyn though?"

Isabella smiled and nodded, "Oh very much so. When he was here you could not tell that some one lived in these chambers. He is a fastidious man. Too clean. I think his soul is dead." She shrugged, "You are perfect. Not overly clean, but not disgustingly dirty either."

Euric laughed lightly. "Well, perhaps I'll get a little too drunk now and again and shout at some innocent servant so you'll have something juicy to tell."

Isabella shook her head, "You are far too kind for that. I have seen how you treat your servants after all, so I know your character."

"I guess that's true." He guessed Milo had kept quiet about that evening. "Then I guess time will tell if you remain in payment of Milo or not."

Isabella nodded, "It will not be that bad if I get terminated. Most of those wages they keep for me. They do not like their spies spending extra wages while undercover. When I retired thought I would have had a large stipend and housing in the petitioner section of Lannisport." She smiled slightly to her self, "That seems so far away sometimes. I thought I would be dead by now."

Euric's eyebrows raised. "Lannisport, eh?" He said, more to himself. "I assume you are quiet good at what you do?"

Isabella shrugged, "I really have not had an opprotunity to prove myself. I have only spied on you and Selwyn. I was here when Lord Thatcher ruled as well, but he had no hand, and did not stay in these quarters himself." She smiled, "I will prove my worth one day though. I want to be as convoluted, and brazen as the Black Witch herself."

"The Black Witch?" Euric asked, his voice sounding interested. "I cannot say I have heard of her."

Isabella covered her mouth as she laughed, "You are so adorable."

Euric felt embarassed. "It seems for being the Hand I don't get told very much. Who is this Black Witch anyway? She sounds like a Thatcher Snr. agent."

Isabella shook her head, "I am afraid not, Lord Dayne." She giggled again and sipped from her wine. "Far more dangerous and influential then that."
