Euric's Spy

[The Smith]

Isabella smiled at Alysanne and said, "It is an honor to you meet you, milady. If there is anything I can do to serve just ask."

[Edric Stark]

"Nice to meet you." Alysanne said and looked at Euric, unsure of what he was planning.

[Flex]

Euric nodded. "Isabella, is there anything new you could find out since we last spoke?"

[The Smith]

"The Bettleys are up to something. I do not think it was a move against the Queen. But there was a flurry of activity. And their network is looking for signs from the Martell Networks, and for news of Thatcher." Isabella looked back at Euric and smiled largely, "That means they are involved with something and need background data. It probably has to deal with the Princesses death."

She took a deep breath and added, "It is definite, Thadeus Thatcher is alive somehow."

[Flex]

Euric went pale. "Damn, damn, damn!" He looked around, not exactly knowing what to think. "What do we know of Princess Ariadne's death?"

[The Smith]

"Not much. Not even if she is dead." Isabella replied, "Some of my sources tell me she lives, but I think it mostly rumor. I do know that Aurora is mounting a frantic investigation."

[Flex]

"Is there any idea of who the culprit is?" Euric asked. "I heard she was... skinned. The same happened to her father."

[The Smith]

"Thatcher's man Tanner is known to skin his targets, and I can not imagine any ordering a man to be skinned but Horas Martell or Thadeus Thatcher. Since Martell would not have done so for himself, it seems obvious." Isabella replied.

[Flex]

Euric nodded, a disgusted look on his face. "But why kill the Princess Ariadne? So far as I know she was not important."

[The Smith]

Isabella shrugged, "I can think of no reason. That does not mean there is none. The Queen's agents think that Aurora may have done it. They are investigating in that manner."

[Flex]

Euric sat thinking for a while. "House Martell is devious... No doubt you have heard that only six of the eight Dragoneggs were returned to us. Alysanne can probably tell you more about Sunspear, but I fear they might be hiding them."

[The Smith]

"I had heard about the eggs." Isabella turned to look at Alysanne.

[Edric Stark]

"Well, Horas had three moved. And none of Sunspear's people seem to know much. I guess it's only Horas and Aurora that know."

[The Smith]

Isabella frowned, "With only two people that would be a hard secret to crack."

[Flex]

"We must do something however." Euric said. "We cannot just let them have three dragon eggs... the dragons!!"
