"I just admitted it." Euric said, after he stumbled back, not even touching his face. "I'm sorry, listen! I wanted to tell you before but... it's not exactly easy."

"I did ask you, didn't I? The day I got back. And you bloody lied to me. Well fuck you." She stormed out the room and slammed the door after her.

Euric sighs and goes to sit on the armchair, waiting for anything.

Alysanne was in her solar, seemingly reading a book.

Rhaenys sat down nexdt to Alysanne.
"How are you, sister? May I see your little son?"

"I've been better, truth to be told." Alys said, but smiled all the same, putting down the book. She stood and walked to the next room, assuming the queen would follow her.
Rhaegar was sleeping soundly in a wooden crib. Alysanne brushed away a strand of his silver hair. "Isn't he adorable?" she asked happily, looking over her shoulder to see if Rhaenys was there.

"He is, thnought you must make allowances for my natural preference towards my own sons," Rhaenys said with a laugh. "He's a fine nephew, though. Will he be a Dayne or a Targaryen?"
She hoped her sister remembered that she meant her siblings to give at least one of their children the Targaryen name.

"He's a dragon." she replied, having not forgotten. "Summerhall needs a Targaryen heir. And now it has one."

"Good, I'm glad of it. What of your future children, though? Euric will want a Dayne, I'm sure."

"Then that's what he shall get." she said, unsure how much Rhaenys knew about Euric's unfaithfulness. She was quite positive, that telling Kyma would equal telling everyone, though.

Good. Alysanne, why can you not forgive Euric his mistakes? No-one is perfect - I for one would not be comfortable with someone who was - and we all do things we afterwards regret. Waht he did was wrong, I know, but can you not put it behind you?"

Alysanne was quite confident her sister didn't even know what she was speaking of, but kept her mouth shut.
"I forgive him, but I do not forget." she said simply. "Thank you for worrying, but it is unnecessary. For I am sure you have more important matters in your hands. Speaking of which, is there anything I can help you with?"

"At present, no, but I will let you know if there is," Rhaenys promised. "Although...you might bring your son to the nursery and play with my triplets sometimes. I, of course, must be queen before I am a wife and mother and so I cannot spend as much time with the children as I sometimes wish. They would benefit from your company and Rhaegar will benefit from their company when he's a few years older."

"Nursery." she smiled politely and nodded. "Right."
