Duncan nods thoughtfully. "As you command, Your Highness."

Aurora looked around the table, "I feel like I am interrupting the regular conversation. What do you normally speak of."

"Simple things, mostly," Duncan says. "The weather, women, old scars. Where we're going and where we've been. Sometimes we tell stories." He takes another bite of his meal.
Bowen, the first mate, grins. "Captain told us we had to behave with a Princess aboard."
Duncan shoots his lieutenant a withering glance.

Aurora laughed and clapped her hands together, "Let us talk about woman then. That is a topic that amuses me."

Bowen grins, more than happy enough to keep on talking. "Well, Argus' wife is a shrew, Captain's picky and a prude beside, but I've got a sweetheart in every city in Westeros and half of the Free Cities. None of them look near so good as you, of course."
Duncan frowns. "You are speaking to a Princess, Bowen. Show respect."

"How pickey is the Captain? He must have very high standards." Aurora turned and winked at him.

"You know those fancy Braavosi whores? Courtesans, they're called." Bowen smiles wistfully. "One of 'em offered Captain a free ride about five years back, when we was in Braavos. Turned her down. I hear she's got the Sea Lord wrapped around her finger now."
Duncan shakes his head, but cannot keep a small smile off his face. "Sailors like to exagerate, Your Highness. My first mate would also have you believe he defeated the King of Asshai in an arm wrestling contest and he has slewn half a dozen dragons. Pay him no mind."

Aurora smiled, "You should be careful what you say Mr. Bowen. I am looking for Dragonslayers. I have not need of them today, but only a fool waits until it is raining to get an umbrella."

Bowen prattles on about how the trick to killing a dragon is to strangle it to death, but Duncan looks at Aurora shrewdly.
"Will it come to that, Your Highness?" Toland asks.

Aurora shook her head, "I pray not. But I will not be unprepared. My father and I had discussed preparations. And hopefully that is all they will ever be."

Duncan nods thoughtfully. "Your father kept dragon eggs in safekeeping for the Targaryens, did he not?"

"He did. Aparantly he secreted three of them away. I am sure he would claim to be hiding them for their rightful honors." Aurora replied.

Aurora nodded, "I must find them, if not to give to the King, then at least so I can have them. My father had too many plans. I feel left out sometimes."

"He was not a man known for sharing his plans," Duncan comments. "He was a good liege lord. Strong. And... just, in his own way. But I do not think his isolation was to his advantage. Not even Prince Horas was an expert in all aspects of rulership. A leader must learn to trust those loyal to him. No man is an island." He chews on a bite of meat. "No woman either."
