A private supper

[Edric Stark]

Alysanne looked at the sea as well. "I thought about this earlier. But I'm not sure I'm in the right state to swim."

[The Smith]

Aldric chuckled, "If you are concerned about the sea's strength, I have a private pool. It is in the most wondrous garden. As the only Martell in residence only I am allowed in. The place has gone to waste with my family spread across the seven realms."

[Edric Stark]

"Maybe some other time. It's probably about time I headed back."
She hesitated and kissed his cheek.

[The Smith]

"One last try then." He wrapped his arms around her and lifted her from her feet, he kissed her hard and passionately. He cradled her in his arms her feet inches from the ground.

[Edric Stark]

Alysanne seemed a bit out of breath after they broke off, but shook her head.
"Good night."

[The Smith]

Aldric stared at her, "You deserve some one better then your Euric. You were strong, but he was not." He sighed, and bowed to her. "Have a good evening."

[Edric Stark]

She had almost reached the door when she understood what he just said.
"Wait.. you haven't actually even properly met him."

[The Smith]

"I do not need to know him to know you deserve better." He moved to his wine glass and raised it to his lips. "I have heard tales of him and his actions."

[Edric Stark]

She smiled. "I see. Things we hear aren't oft what they are."

[The Smith]

"I received a letter from my sister, Adrianne, telling me she had slept with him. So there was not a great deal of confusion." He replied calmly, "Find a better man then he to marry. You deserve more then he can give you."

[Edric Stark]

Alysanne stared at him for a moment or two and left.

[The Smith]

Aldric nodded, she did deserve better. Better then himself two. He walked out and grabbed the first serving girl he saw, and brought her back to his rooms.
