"The Reeds advise me. They have a long history binding them to my house." Beatrice replied, "You have lost your hold on them, but they are linked closely with my house for over three hundred years."

"That is good to know. What of the Freys, though? Do they still have that hold upon the Reeds that they had at Moat Cailin or is tha done with now?"

"They are friends still. But Lord Reed knows his duty to me." Beatrice replied. "And Lord Frey is a friend as well."

"But do they know their duty to me?" Rhaenys wondered aloud. "I wish to be as confident in their friendship as you are, Beatrice."

"I can not speak for Frey, but Lord Reed will do as I command." Beatrice replied, and suddenly smiled.

"Good. See that he does as I command too."
A horrible suspicion occured to her.
"My dear girl...is your friendship with Lord Reed as strong as that with Lord Lannister?"

I hope you don't make the beast with two backs with all your bannermen, Rhaenys thought. She wanted to know if Lannister as the girl's only lover but could not ask.
"Yes. Your liegemen are my liegemen too," said Rhaenys. "I've a notion to travel throughout the realm once matters are more settled. How would you feel about guiding me through the great castles of the North?"

"It would be an honor my Queen." Beatrice replied, "We would love to host our liege."

"I'll look forward to it. I will attend your wedding, of course. I assume you wish to be wed as soon as possible?"

"There is no hurry, but I also have no desire to postpone." Beatrice replied.

"Nor should you. Women in our position must needs marry early for the sake of our lands and to preserve the family line. Wyhat about your sister's marriage, to Lord Reed's son? I assume you do not mean for that to take place for a while yet?"

"Oh she is not ready yet. Much too young." Beatrice replied.

"Fair enough."
Rhaenys thought for a moment, remembering something she'd heard a while ago. She debated bringing it up with Beatrice then changed her mind.
"Is there anything I can help you with, Beatrice, excepting your desire to marry Lord Bolton?"

"There is nothing your grace. I am quite happy." She smiled.
