"The bloody cultists tried to force me out of my keep. They killed my wife and I haven't seen my son for years. Not knowing if he is dead, or a turncoat, I disinherited him in favour of Margeary." He gestured to his daughter. "I made an alliance with Lord Androw Ashford and blocked half of the Roseroad. I taxed the crossing of the Mander in my lands and with that money fought them. I fortified my walls, ambushed the bastards and fought them off. Lord Androw helped me with his men and I helped him with my money. Margeary lead my castle defenses while I was out of the castle. We managed to live through, but casualties weren't small."
