The great doors swung open. The queen's figure could be seen in the doorway. She marched across the throne room, flanked by knights of the Queensguard. She was clothed all in black, her hair a tangle of silver-gold around her face and her sword at her side. She walked fast, purposely, and as she came close to anyone present they could see that her eyes were res-rimmed. She walked up to the place beneath the Iron Throne where Euric spoke with Lord Drumm.

"Lord Euric, thank you for sitting here today. I will take over nowm but please stay, I need your counsel."

Then she climbed up to sit upon the Iron Throne, careful not to cut herself. Once she was seated she looked down.

"Lord Drumm, am I right to assume you have come direct from the Arbor?"
