Rhaenys took the papers and signed. No date of execution had yet been entered.
"So, you think I ought to proceed with the execution forthwith?" She asked.

"Your grace." Euric said, stepping up. "If I may say so; I think the execution should be taken care of immediately. There is no use in waiting."

Oswell nods, "I am of a mind with Lord Euric. This must be done now before we move. Time is of the essence, but we must be seen to be taking care of things here and now."

"Immediately seems rather sudden," Rhaenys said. "This is the outcome we all expected, more or less, but it would be unseemly to hurry. There is no pyre and no septon has been called to hear Lily's final confession. I trust you do not mean this instant, my lords. I think the thing requires a couple of hours to ensure all preparations are made."
And besides, there is something I must do.

"The sooner the better." Euric replied. "I have a force of men to march north and I plan to see the end of this before I leave."

"It will be today, for certain," Rhaenys said. "I do not wish to damage our cause by putting off the inevitable."

Euric nodded. "Just let me know when." With that he walked off.

Lord Greyjoy, his aunt and uncle, and a dozen or so captains arrive in the throne room. Their guards were left in the courtyard.
"Your Grace," Ragnor says, "I hope we find you well. How fares the war?"

"It progresses, but slowly," Rhaenys answered guardedly. "Your ships will be needed, my lord. What state are your crews and vessels currently in?"

"Chock full on plunder and victory over Braavosi scum," Ragnor answers with a wide grin, "But our appetite is never sated. We'll need a day or three to resupply the ships, I think, and after that, we are yours."

"Good. I have a task for you," she told him. "How does Braavos stand now?"

"Well, they've lost 80 ships, and the men that crew them. Not to mention one of their main client cities looted and burned," Ragnor tells her, more than a little proud of his men, "Don't tell me you want us to carry on with them, I hear two-front wars usually end poorly."

"Yes, and that's not what I want," Rhaenys answered. "We've enough to worry about at present. I was merely curious. How would you like to visit Dorne?"
