She nodded.
"Where were you?" She whispered to Milo.
"I wouldnt leave something as vile as you alive." She said to the man.

"I had to kill some men. Still do." Milo said simply as he moved to the right. He threw a dagger underhand with his left hand. It blossomed in the chest of the man, and he looked down at it. He pulled it from his chest and dropped it to the ground.
The blue-eyed dead man snarled, "It will take more then that." Then he moved forward again.

"Do you still have your light?" Gen asked Milo. "If so give it to me."

Milo pulled his lamp and handed it to her. He swung his mace at the approaching man to keep him back.

Gen took it and undid it hurriedly, there was alittle bit of fluid in the botton and she spilled it on the floor in haste.
She dropped the lit wick on the nearest flammible objest hoping it would light, and work. She pulled Milo back by his tunic.

Milo rolled backwards coming up beside her, as the wooden pews slowly began to burn. The Blue-eyed man stepped back, and studied them both. "One of you will die by their own machinations, and the other will be murdered by allies. Your fates are as black as mine." He snarled.

"Then I will die of my own choosing, not what someone chooses for me." Ganieda said, she could feel the heat of the burning pews slowly rise.

The man stared at her, "Take pride in that little girl." He stepped back to the alter, "And tell the Dragon bitch that a black seed will grow the greatest casting a shadow over all its brothers."

Ganieda took Milo's hand and pulled him, wanting to get out of there before the flames consummed everything.

Milo followed after her a grim expression on his face. "I found some cells down the right corridor. They stopped feeding the prisoners months ago."

She nodded.
"We get Ryam Drumm and Harlon and take their bodies up. The rest can be done later." She said firmly. "Did you find anyone alive at all?"

"Just men who are dead now." Milo replied, as he walked on.

"I wont leave my friend in here. And Drumm is important, his death was, well is, a problem. Will you help me?"

Milo nodded, "Of course." He tugged at his beard. When they reached Drumm, Milo bent down and studied the man. And then snickered, "He is not dead. Just unconscious." Milo hoisted him over his shoulder and stood.

She laughed, sounding almost hysterical. "Of course. Of course he would be."
They reached Harlon, and Ganieda knelt. "He was one of my best friends for years. I trusted him with everything." She said sadly.
