He smirked,"I meant that is how it works, I am his personal slave but most squires can leave there masters. I on the other hand am a fucking hostage and can't leave.... so I am a slave because of a loop hole." He smiled sarcastically,"It's great."

"Then prehaps you should talk to him about it. I know that Lady Gen sorts some things out that way, not always blundering in with a sword and a shout as I seem to do." He gave a sheepish grin. "Sometimes that does work."

He shook his head in disbelief,"For some weird reason I don't think that will work. But maybe lady Gen can persuade him."

"No but I doubt that she would be happy if something was to happen. Have you been down here before?" She asked, looking where he was pointing. Milo shook his head, "No, but I questioned three men who had. And now I know many things. Things you will need to know, perhaps."

She smiled slightly.
"Then might I know them?" she asked, crossing to the door and looking down the passage it led to, she motioned to the brothers to go.

"Well first the passage down is here." Milo replied as the brothers began to move down a spiral staircase into the earth below. "There could be... men... working down here, and there are traps, but I should know enough to warn before the traps. I think."

"Alright. What sort of men?" She asked. "Queen Rhaenys said that we would find some bodies down here, and maybe some alive. Do you know what they would be working on?"
She followed the brothers down the stairs, trusting Harlon to bring up the rear.
"Walk with me?" She asked Milo.

Milo spun his mace around his hand as he moved down the stair next to her. "From what I heard, the men down here can barely be called men. Eunuch slaves with their tongues removed. The were called Thatcher's Lizards because they inhabited these pits."

"That is disgusting." She said after a moment. "Why would anyone do that to another person?"

"I do not know... it is a horrible fate." Milo shivered, "We will be doing them a favor when we kill them."

"No man should be bound to another like that. Its not right." she said quietly. "The least we could do is give them their deaths."

"They will try and kill us, and from the descriptions I was given they are quite big, and dangerous. They will have hammers, big ones. They grow them large." Milo shrugged.
The brothers had reach the bottom of the stair, and a black as pitch worn tunnel stretched away into the bowels of the earth. Crouching Milo lit a lantern that was fastened to his belt. It was a bull's eye lamp used by thieves to control their light as they moved about houses at night.
Milo said, "No more natural light, so light them up."

"Thats why we sharpened our swords." She muttered as she searched for her light. She lit the lantern that she had, warmed slightly by the glow that it gave.
"Why would anyone fight if we are giving them freedom." She said. "I know I would rather be dead then have to live down here, and at the will of anothers."

"The Eunichs... they are ordered too, and they train them well across the sea." Milo replied.
The brothers began to inch along the tunnel. Lars being so tall is crouched, and falls back behind his shorter brother. The tunnel runs steadily down at a very slight incline.

She glanced at him.
"Anyman would wish to be free."
She followed the brothers down the tunnel. Her height didnt provide an issue in the tunnel, but looking back she could see Harlon struggling a little. She hid her smile.
