"Lord Tyrell," Horas says, "I have heard the men who tried to kill you were from the Riverlands, very obviously so. I understand this puts me and my family under suspicion, and I wish to assure you that I had absolutely nothing to do with it. My resources are quite extensive, particularly in King's Landing and the Riverlands, and I would be glad to offer any assistance you may need in finding whoever is responsible."

"Please do, Lord Blackwood. We will shortly begin a search in the Riverlands, and I would like to know which towns to start in."

A knight clad in a black tunic with a sigil of three burning candles walks into the tent. He is of medium height and build, and has short cropped black hair and two days growth of beard. "I have been sent as envoy by the Hand to look into Lord Barret's safety and offer my aid in his investigation. I served his father in seeking Information, and the Hand has recently acquired my services once more. Attacks such as these threaten the health and safety of the Realm, and are a preeminent concern to the Hand," he says in a quiet, calm voice.
"I am Ser Jonas Waxley."

Randal glances from Seth to Lord Blackwood. Then, he returns his gaze to Barret. When he finally speaks, he adresses the room at large.
"Yes, where do we begin. We really must start soon if we are to track down these killers."

Seth smoothed his tangled hair. "Yes, let us figure out this mess as a group."

Horas looks at Barret for a moment, then says quietly, "Forgive me, Lord Tyrell, but to help you I must first critique your strategy. You will never find your assassins by gathering a large group of lords and walking around the Riverlands searching towns. In public as it is, news of this meeting will soon spread and the assassins will make sure they are anywhere but the Riverlands when your men come searching. I would suggest handling this more quietly."

"Then let us move this discussion to somewhere more private. I suggest my chambers. Lord Randal, Ser Seth, Ser Jonas, I am sure Lord Barret will value your counsel, and you are all invited as well. I merely wish to move this investigation to a place where any reveler cannot overhear what is said."

Seth gave Lord Blackwood a dark look. "I think Lord Barret's home would serve just as well."

Ser Jonas nods. "A quiet approach...is the only method that will succeed," he says softly.

Horas nods at Lord Randal and Ser Jonas, but raises an eyebrow at Seth.
"Lord Barret's home would suffice as well, of course," Horas says mildly.

"I merely want not another incident like the one before. I hope you understand, Lord Blackwood?" Seth moved to pick up some papers from the table.
