Euric smiled broadly. "A child, what cheery news! Do you have any potential names yet? I... do appologize if I sound like a young noble girl who dreams of knights."

Ryam arrived late, he had just finished cleaning Maekar's armor and sword, he had looked his work over closely and had shined them both to a sheen. He hadn't had time for a bath and had just enough time to through on something fitting and run to the wedding and then to the feast. He snuck in and sat down quietly at the end of the table. His hair was greased and parts stood on end, essentially he looked like hell.

Talyn laughed, "Kyma says that it will be a daughter, and we are naming her Becca, in honor of the dragon which her mother rode into the last battle."

Rhaenys had moved down the table since Selwyn was as quiet as usual. Coming upon her goodbrother and her future goodbrother, she heard something interesting and slipped into a seat next to Talyn.
"Mother would be honoured by your choice of name," she said.
//////////
Maekar approached his young squire.
"You look like you've been in battle," he said, with a slight laugh. "Have a drink, and pour me one, if you would. I have trouble pouring for myself at the moment."

Talyn bowed his head, "I thank you your grace. It was Kyma's wish, and I thought it sounded quite right. Of course what we do if we should have a boy, I have no idea. But my wife is certain that it will be a daughter."

Oswell smiled and blushed, not a normal reaction for the reserved Riverlander. "I have faith that she will be found. As to her name..." Oswell leans forward to whisper in her ear, "The Lady Danyella Hightower." Oswell leans back with a smirk on his face. "From what I am told she is a well sought after woman, But I believe I have earned the right to her name. Few are so loyal as I, and even fewer have given so much while asking nothing." Oswell looked at her again, "If you were not taken though I would give ou some thought. You are a fine woman Lady Greyjoy, and interesting as well." She laughed. "I doubt that your people would say that My Lord. Your Lady will be found and I have no doubt your marriage would be spectacular. I have heard of her 'suitors' for want of a better word. Gossip is saying that the Queen is none to pleased with those pursuing her." "My men are more understanding than most, my lady. They fought alongside your own in the frozen north...and many others they would otherwise have not gotten on with. There is a special bond shared by those who fought the Others, and by those loyal to the Queen." "I have heard much the same of her 'suitors'. I hope to be the one set aside from the rest...though I do not know who they are. And where is your lord husband tonight?"

Euric smiled at Talyn. "A fitting name." He then saw Rhaenys and bowed his head in greeting. "Congratulations on the wedding, Rhaenys... your grace."

He grudgingly poured a drink for his master and handed it to him. Then he poured himself one, and ignored the bastard Targaryen.

"Yes, congratulations, although in truth I have to struggle to remember that you were not married to Lord Selwyn earlier, you seem to have found a very comfortable rhythm, that should make marriage easier."

"Back at the Islands as far as I know My Lord." she said. She watched Ryam and Maekar for a moment, then looked back at Oswell.
"He is trying to get the support from the ones we left behind, the ones who followed my father when he did what he did. He has to tell them of the change in the situation. After all not all of them know that he has taken over the sea-stone chair, and what really happened."

Rheanys looked at the two men who loved her sisters. She envied them; she and Selwyn lacked their close bonds. She leaned in close to whisper.
"Truth be told, Selwyn and I have found a certain...understanding, but it's not as easy as it looks. You are lucky, Talyn, and you Euric, even though you resent being made to wait for your bride. My sisters love you two dearly, but I do not think Selwyn loves me."

Oswell nodded. "Well I pray he succeeds in swaying them. The Ironborn have always been a prickly lot if I am not mistaken. Each man a king upon his own vessel yes? I do hope your Drowned God is with him. But why are you not there?" Oswell offers a sly grin, "Do you prefer sport of the men here perhaps?"

He grudgingly poured a drink for his master and handed it to him. Then he poured himself one, and ignored the bastard Targaryen. Maekar looked up the long table. His expression was sour. He hated to see Lady Greyjoy talking with another man but he knew it would be dangerous to go and speak with her himself. "Tell me what you know of the young Lord Greyjoy," he said.

"Where is the sport if people come willingly?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. "I am here to provide something that my Lord husband will come back for, when he is successful in his quest. The Queen has bid me to remain with her for the time being."
