"I was betrothed to my wife the night I met her. We all find odd paths to passion," Rhodri says. "And don't be afraid to bother me, mi'lady," referring to her earlier apology. "I will always open my door for you. Not many in this city share your virtue."

Elena looked at him and blushed lightly, "Thank you, Lord Hand. It is nice to have another friend, in this new life of mine." She stared at Becca dancing, "and passion does truly take odd paths."
Then smiling, she continued, "But whoever has been filling your head with these lies about me being virtous is doing you a major disservice. Look at me, dressed as a man. Insisting to be invited in my own right. Not to mention I married for love not duty. I am one more scandal away from working the streets of Flea Bottom."

"Well you see Keath you are an idiot and that is why you will not live to see your children grow old." With that Tallahar takes off the Full helm and walks over to Lilith and her husband dancing, Turning to Lilith he passes her a note then says in a kind voice, "May I cut in. Do not worry I am terrible sorry and shall see that your Lord Husband comes to no harm." Kennos only laughs. "Only cowards live to old age, Tyrell. Legends die young, with a blade in their hand." Keath finishes his ale and wanders away, lowering his mask again. He spots a comely young red haired woman conversing with the Hand, and walks up to her. "Care to dance?" Kennos asks Elena.

"Mi'lady, when I met Lady Becca she was in trousers. Yours is exactly the sort of virtue I admire. I fear my reputation does not quite do me justice; I am not entirely grim and traditional," Rhodri says.

Elena looks at Kennos, "Ohh... that would be lovely thank you." Turning back to Rhodri she offered a parting smile, and added, "Until next time, Lord Hand."
She allows Kennos to escort her onto the floor.

"I will await your return anxiously, mi'lady," Rhodri says with an amused grin.

Kennos is not a skilled dancer, and is perhaps overly forceful in his steps, but he is not entirely ungraceful either.
"I've never seen you before," He says after a time, "Who are you?"

Elena was jolted out of her privite thoughts, but she smiled and answered, "I am Elena Plumm, my father was Lord Baldwin Lannister. And who are you?"

"Ah, the one who never leaves her chambers," Kennos says bluntly. "What lured you out tonight, Elena? I'm Kennos Keath."

Elena sighed, "So I was the crazed women who never left her chambers. I left them because my wounds have healed, and Lord Piers Bettley need an escort for this ball. I should say Lady Piers Bettley." She motions down to the Dragonknight outfit she is wearing sans mask.

In a flourish of multi-colored extravagance, another guest enters, their long train and sweeping cloaks and tails swirl in countless different directions. The costume is designed to look like the setting sun, in a more, artistic manner. The person inside the costume enters silently, the mask of orange and purple covering their entire face.
The guests gender is entirely unpredictable, but the Sun has an extravangant, flowing step. The Sun makes their way to the table, and takes an olive, popping it into a mouth that is mobile, despite the mask. An expensive costume to say the least.

ooc: wow, I bet it's very warm wearing that get-up When the trouble with Tallahar had flared up, mother-of-pearl had gone back to join the Kraken in case some guest had taken this distraction for another purpose. The Kraken however, took it all in his stride and throughout the night made it his business to dance with as many of the powerful ladies of the land, to learn more about them and their husbands.

The Sun suddenly snatched up a servingirl and began to spin her around the room in dance, dizzying her, before departing and grabbing a young Lord in an embrace, swirling him about on the floor as well. For several minutes the Sun changed partners before dramatically bowing out and returning to the table of food, and gulping down a glass of wine. Throughout the entire ordeal, the Sun had remained silent.

When it is only a couple hours till dawn and most of the guests have either left or passed out, the servants begin clearing away.
