As the huge host of Reachmen nears King's Landing, many commanders branch off to send their troops home, leaving about half of those numbers to double as festival workers. The soldiers are given small tasks and make quick work of setting up large pavilions. The marriage ceremony of Barret Tyrell and Princess Caitlyn Baratheon is fairly long, but sweet and romantic- despite the rather formal nature and setting. The festivities after the ceremony are fantastic, and widespreading. Many of the Reachmen take great pleasure in relaxing and eating great food and wine, while watching a myriad of plays and entertainers. A huge tent, supported by many tall, wooden posts, is where many of the nobles dance, eat, and talk amongst themselves.

Ser Nathan as a Reachman and the representative of Tallahar Barrets cousin is at the wedding and goes over to the happy pair.
Bowing to the both of them then looking to Barret, "It warms my heart to see you married Lord Tyrell and I can tell you that Tallahar will be very said that he could not be here but his wife needed time to heal. I wish you both the best and may your marriage be as happy as mine."

Seth sauntered over to Barret, his grin lopsided and his manner drunken. He had joined in the festivities a bit too much, perhaps.
"Merry Marriage, friend. When's the bedding?" He laughed to himself and held out his tankard. "Have a drink?"

Lord Lyas Bolton arrives purposefully late and immediately greets Tyrell. He makes a small bow to the young lord and congratulates him on his nuptials. He stands next to Barret examing all the lords and ladies closely.

The Hand and his wife attend, along with some of the freshly arrived Vale knights and lords. Rhodri takes time to mingle with nobles from all ends of the Realm -- as Hand, it is his duty to be familiar with men of talent from across the Seven Kingdoms, in case the King should have need of their services.
Naturally, he makes sure to give his personal congratulations to the newly made couple.

Seth approaches the Hand.
"Lord, I am pleased to see you again. It has been too long."

"Seth, Ser Seth, I should say. Congratulations. Ser Giles always thought well of you, I am glad you did well in the North," Rhodri replies.

"Thank you Lord," He responded, his voice getting quieter. "I was sorry to hear about your brother." He smiled, sadly. "I hear he was a good man, though I never met him personally, if he had half of your character he was taken too soon."
The Knight was truly unhappy with the man's loss, understanding the loss of family, as many others did in this turbulent time.

"It was the second time I lost Selwyn, and he is the second brother I have lost. It does not get easier with the repetition. However, while I mourn my brother, I know that many men have lost their brothers in these wars, many wives have lost their husbands, many fathers have lost their sons. My sadness is no more and no greater than that of all the other survivors who will move on and live on with their loss," Lord Rhodri says.
"I am a soldier, and I understand the necessity of war. But I long for peace."
Rhodri is silent for a moment.
"And what of you, young knight? Where do you see your coming days?"

"A knights path is not often of his own choosing. I am sure that my path shall be ordained in time. As of now, I ride with justice in my heart. Though my heart is heavy of late. All I know to be true is my own feelings of late, and it is with a heavy burden do we all bear the realm on our shoulders."
He was very pensive for a moment then spoke again.
"How might an uncouth man redeem himself, in the eyes of the Gods and Law?"

Ser Nathan walks over to the two men talking Bowing deeply to the Hand and inclining his head to the young Knight, "My Lord Hand, I saw you talking and thought I must ask what is going to happen about the occupation of Dragonstone we can not allow this." Nathan says this whole statement with any emotion across his face.

"With the King returned, we can finally address Dragonstone. However, I cannot speak publicly of the discussions of the Small Council. Our intentions will be known soon, though, good Ser," the Hand says.

Seth waited patiently for the Hand's response to his own question, sobering as he stood.

Turning back to the young man, Rhodri says, "You pick at a subject close to my heart, and close to my hand." Rhodri lifts the stump on his left arm. "I felt I had violated the will of the gods, and faced that directly. While I lost a part of myself, I have felt at greater peace ever since. Do you feel you have wronged your kin, or the gods themselves?"

"Not I, no, Lord. But I grieve for a friend. A friend who has been through much in the past, and I fear faces further trials. Despite his flaws, he is a good man, though his actions do not deem him so."
He cast a glance at the sky outside of the window. "I despair for his future, as it seems it is wrought with strife."
