"I haven't any close followers from those regions," Rhaenys answered. "Except Lord Tully, to whom I have given other tasks. I'll speak to Lord Selwyn and request he send one of his loyal men with you. It's better that way."

Truth be told, she'd forgotten all about Heartsbane after Tarly's death. I think I shall send Dunn with him, she decided.
"i don't. There have been many more pressing matters that Selwyn and I have had to deal with. What of it? Is there some distant Tarly relation who should receive the blade?"

"So who held the sword named Fury, and who was Talyn Thatcher's grandmother? I need to be fully acquainted with the facts before I make a decision."

"Lord Thatcher's grandmother was one Aerie Blackwood. Once loyal follower of King Callen. Fury was wield by House Baratheon for a short time before being given back to House Tarly. I can not remember by which King or Regent though."

"Well then, what are you expecting me to do with the blade now?" Rhaenys asked.

"Whatever you think is best I just wish you to know the past of the blade. But if I was you I think a Valyrian blade would be an honour for the husband to your sister."

"Lord Thatcher? Well, yes, that is true, especially if his grandmother owned one half of the blade before. However, it may be that Selwyn wishes to keep it himself, and I am not inclined to say him nay."

"Of course I was only offering my consul to your Grace. I know your knowledge of our land has spaces in it and I only wish to help."

"I know," Rhaenys said softly. "I appreciate your suggestions, but I will consult with my Hand before I make any decisions. I need to be sure the blade is put into the right hands."

Edmure waited for a moment, "Will I am pleased that this discussion has come to an end. By your leave Your Grace."

"Of course," Rhaenys murmured.
