Alysanne curtsies before her queen, Shiera beside her. "We are truly honoured to be here, Your Grace. You have our sincere thanks for your invitation."

Mortimer eyes Alysanne. "Such a sparkling diamond, here at this court. Pray, what is your name?" He smiles beguilingly.

Aerie observed a gaggle of Tyrells approach the Queen and exchange elaborate words of empty respect and awe. She noted the two young girls, both appearing innocent and young, naïve and cheerful in their youthful freedoms. Once upon a time, that had been her arriving at a feast as a rebellious fiend, only to have the world turn upside down and vomit all its junk upon her head. This was where her foolishness had landed her. Where would it take those two?

Mortimer turned to see the Blackwood girl then. He smiled at her, flashing his teeth. A handsome man, with black hair combed back. He winked at her then and turned back to the table.

"Lady Alysanne, this is Mortimer Pyke, a businessman of the city," Mally said. She glanced over at the Blackwood girl, who was watching them. She smiled, curious.

Aerie wrinkled her nose in distaste when the man standing near the Tyrell girls winked at her; that was the last thing she need right now. Then there was another girl, pale of skin and hair like Alyssa and staring at her curiously. With an annoyed sigh, she strode over to them and managed a smile. “I don’t think we’ve met before?” she asked the blond girl with underlying tones of suspicion in her voice.

"No, we haven't," Mally answered. "But I have heard of Lady Aerie of Raventree Hall. That is who I'm speaking to, isn't it?" Her eyes twinkled. "I met Lady Alyssa, your....humble servant, I believe."

Aerie snorted. Only Alyssa would say something like that. “Or not so humble. So you have met then. I hope she behaved herself, though I suppose I already know the answer to that.” Suddenly, she frowned and glanced about for a second. “You wouldn’t happen to know where she has gone then, would you?” she queried nonchalantly.

"Compared to some others, I'd say she behaved quite well," Mally said, thinking of Kennos Keath. "And I know where she went. Prince Steffon and one Ser Kennos Keath - one of your men, I believe - got into a...quarrel. Alyssa and Ser Erik of the Kingsguard accompanied them to the Twins, where they will stand trial."

Alysanne smiles captivatingly back at him, eyes twinkling. "Thank you m'lord. I'm Alysanne Tyrell, Lord Barret's cousin."
(ooc: Sorry about the long delays, my computer's playing up something chronic, but I've got it back up and I think I've fixed it now. Hopefully.)

“Prince Steffon and Ser Kennos Keath are involved in a ‘quarrel’?” she echoed incredulously, jade eyes narrowing with displeasure. “It must be some spectacular sort of quarrel to require a trial at the Twins.” She thought of the letters she had received and, of course, of stupid Ser Kennos Keath, who she wouldn’t mind stabbing through the heart. She had warned Horas about that one, but he had insisted Keath was a good man. Apparently not, she thought dryly.

"And who may these two be?" she observed, turning to the Tyrell girls.

OOC: No problem Alysanne.
"Yes, my lady," Mally said. "Ser Kennos suspected Prince Steffon of trying to assassinate him. It was a most violent encounter; I think it would have come to blows, if Lord Bettley and Ser Erik had not been there."
She glanced at Mortimer charming the pretty Tyrell girl, and smiled. Better her than me. "Lady Alysanne," she said, wondering at her own boldness. "Is this your first visit to King's Landing?"

"I haven't become acquainted with Lord Tyrell as of yet, but I think I might have to, if the rest of the ladies of the House resemble you." He smiled, and then looked sheepishly at Mally.

Aerie surveyed the Tyrell girl, shooting the man beside her an inhumanely cool glance that made the North seem uncomfortably warm in comparison. Mally's tale had just made things a bit more interesting.
"Really. Now that's new," she said vaguely, the wheels in her brain churning wildly.
