"You are both fine woman and it is a treat for myself to be in your presence. I know you Alyssa you are friends to with Aerie Blackwood a gently spirit of a lady, but I do not know you M'lady." Erik says to the blushing lady.
OOC: Erik is lying through his teeth. I gota go now we could continue this later.

OOC: I can tell.
"My name is Mally Avalon," Mally smiled sweetly. "I wouldn't expect a chaste white knight to have heard of me."

"Why, thank you. Your words are a comfort," Alyssa said amusedly. "I will be sure to let Aerie know she is considered a gentle-spirited woman."

"This Lady Aerie you speak of," Mally said. "Is she your kin?"

“No, I am but her humble servant,” Alyssa lied deftly with a twinkle in her eye. “We have grown up like sisters, however.”

"You look rather fierce for a humble servant," Mally twinkled back. "Is your foster sister as lovely as you?"
Mally glanced at Prince Steffon, who was being rather quiet.

“Do I now? You haven’t seen her drag me around then.” She grinned at her other question. “It could not be possible. Who could be more lovely than you and I?” That was far from the truth, but then, when had she and Aerie ever bothered to do that?

Mally laughed. "There speaks a true, loyal sister! I think we must drink to that. May no beauty or no loving sister ever outshine us!" She raised her glass to the prince and clinked it with Alyssa's, and drank.

Alyssa laughed, clinking her glass heartily against hers and drowning her wine. She did have a soft spot for alcohol.

Steffons sat soundlessly, content to let the women speak.
"Me and your 'sister' as you say, Aerie I believe, have made arrangements to dine together sometime in the near future upon my return from the North, Alyssa. I am sure it will be a wonderful time, if she is half the beauty you are."
To Erik he nods, "Very good. We shall surprise my brother with my presence, I do not think he knows I am on my way to meet him."
ooc: I'll return in a while.

“Really?” Alyssa inquired, attempting to appear surprised. It had been she who had relayed the message on to Aerie in the first place, and she hadn’t been able to resist the temptation to take a peek. She had known Aerie would agree, but for reasons other than what this prince had in mind. Callen had not exactly left a wonderful impression on the girl of the Baratheon line, though Treason had been a source of redemption. “I think you will find her to your tastes. What inspired you to dine with her?

"Will you be going to fight the northerners, my lord?" Mally asked. "With Lord Stark? And the others?" she added hastily.

Steffon shrugs at at Mally, "Perhaps the northerners. Perhaps I shant even figth at all. I've my own reasons for going North and care not much for my brother's wars and his ways."
To Alyssa he narrows his eyes, picking up the subtle intonation flowing in her single word, "Yes. I sought to dine with her for a ...Simple reason she may be inclined to favor."
The Prince held a knowing gleam in his eyes as he took a sip of his wine.

“I am a simple servant, my lord. I have trouble understanding your big words.”

Steffon leans forward, "Simply, she may like an idea or two I have."
Steffon would have said more, except at that moment his servant of sorts, Willem Carron steps into the room and approaces the Prince, whisper words but that only two of can be faintly heard, "Knight..." "...Lives..." Steffon nods and dismisses Willem.
Setting his wine down, the Prince looks once more to Alyssa, "What is your honest opinion of me, my dear lady? I know my brother sets a rather poor example for what the Baratheon name means."
