Oswell thought for a moment as Amyrion walked off. "Perhaps there is wisdom in your words Ser. I will do as you suggest and send men to both Baratheon and Royce right away. Thank you Ser, your words have been most helpful, if you would prepare your men to leave that would be even more helpful."
Oswell walks off a short distance and speaks with his scouts and messengers, sending two groups of three off bearing a banner of peace to find the camps of the Baratheon and Royce men. They are under orders to speak with none but those lords of their message and return immediately with an answer.

"We've been gone for long time Ser Aaron who knows whats happened to Eustace he could of been turned by Thatcher. Plus I would remind you that it is the Queen who is talking as she is the ruler."

Ser Aaron Royce rounds up his remaining Vale knights, ordering them to gear up and get mounted to be ready to leave camp, and then he goes to where Lord Tully had put the imprisoned riverlanders, seeking to speak with the captives for more information.

Ser Aaron looked down at the men, slightly disgusted by how Tully had treated his fellow countrymen. "Who speaks for you," he asked the group.

"I am Ser Aaron Royce, heir to the Eyrie and cousin to his grace, King Selwyn Baratheon. You spoke of armies camped around Harrenhal, Ser. Where are they?" he asked.

"The Dornish are to the South East. The Westermen to the North West, and the Reach to the South west." Fillion replied, "I mean in relation to Harrenhal. Not here."

"They are positioned at Lord Harroway's Town. They are waiting for the King." Ser Fillion replied.

Aaron nodded. "The last we heard, the King was moving south through Moat Cailin, around the same time that we set sail from the White Harbor. We had to sail around the Vale so I imagine his forces are close by now. One of the dragon princesses was kidnapped by Thatcher so they sent us down here to protect the Queen's force when she goes to negotiate."
"Is my lord father's army at Horroway's town as well, or are the Vale soldiers still at the Bloody Gate?" he asked.

"They retook the Gate finally and broke free of the vale itself. But it was bloody." Ser Fillion replied, "Lord Mallister, and Lord Baratheon took the Wights from behind, it was hard fighting. I do not know how the Others captured the blasted keep in the first place."

"Nor do I, Ser. I do not really understand why Lord Tully locked you up; as long as you're not Thatcher's man we're all on the same side here." Ser Aaron pulled his flask off his hip and took a long swig. "I shall ride for Lord Horroway's Town, to inform them there of the King's progress south, and in the meanwhile I'll try to get Tully to release your men."

Oswell walks up with two guards and motions for them to untie the knight and his men. "You are free to go Ser, I apologize for the treatment. Had I known you and your liege were loyal to Lord Selwyn and not the Thatcher bastard you would been welcomed as guests. If you could bring Aaron here and two messengers of my own to your lord along with the lors Baratheon and Royce you would bedoing Selwyn a great service. He and his forces have no idea what they are about to ride into."

Edmure dressed in mail with a sword comes up to Tully, "So it seems that the south holds great surprises for us. How does it feel to be home Lord Tully?"
