Balor looked across unsympathetically to Lord Stark "Well we will of course try if Callen commands it. Mayhaps my men could attempt it. Lord Wull does not yet know that I have refused his offer, though he may suspect it. The risk would be large however and any failure may result in their immediate deaths. I do not skip over the risks inherent in such an act". Lord Balor completely ignores Edmure Seaworth.

Edmure looked at Callen, "Callen, Your Grace, forgive me....I."
Callen did not smile, nor stand up. "What's done is done Edmure, now what about this rescue?"
Edmure had a small map of Winterfell put on the table, "Well I have my own men, but I could use Balor's help as well." He did not meet Greyjoy's eyes. "We swim across the moat and then use these." He pulled out a grappling hook, the kind used to bind two ships together in a boarding action.
"We scale the walls, and then open his door," He pointed to a small back entrance. "Then we split up, and try to find where they're keeping Lord Stark's family. I'm assuming Wull is using some of Winterfell's people to help keep the castle running, so we could enlist their help if need be. The only problem is getting there, we could take a ship North and land it on some barren shore, but through Moat Cailen would be faster."

A voice was heard from the corner, "There is a third option." A man with long golden hair, and green eyes stepped from behind the door. Although he spoke that common tounge surprsingly well it was slightly flavoured by the melodic accents of the east. "Forgive me from intruding, Nehmen let me in." He knelt on one knee and drew his sword, resting it on the floor. The blade was rippled with the smokie black steel made by the blacksmith's of Valyria. The pommel was a lion roaring, and the hilt was bound in red leather kept together by golden thread. "Your Grace, I am Jorah Lannister, I will not regail you with my ancestry, but needless to say I come from a line once thought lost in the east. And I have a proposal for you."
Another man stepped into the room, slightly shorter, with curly black hair and a pointed goatee. "Actually it was my proposal, but since Jorah is the captain, he gets the glory of presenting it. Constance Stone is my name, bastard extrodinaire from the Fingers. We keep the small fort across the river. Oh and by the way."
Jorah looked annoyed when he stood up, but said nothing. "Yes, we can get Winterfell for you, and without risking Lord Stark, or his family." He pulled a letter from his pocket, "We recieved this from the North. It's from Wull, and he offers us a contract. We were tempted to take it, but we had a better idea." He pointed at Moat Cailen at the map before him. "We got to Winterfell, on the premise of taking Wull's offer, and when we're safely in the castle, and have Lord Stark's family secure we take the castle, quick and relitively bloodless. After that we swing back south and open up Moat Cailen for you."

Benjen looks around, at all the eager warriors and grimaces, "My King, I do not care to waste any time. If I am not to be allowed to surrendor myself, then I will not. But please let me lead a rescue attempt immediately. The second Wull hears I am not following his orders he will kill my sons. And probably my wife also."

Tallahar grinds his teeth together, "I still disagree with it but if Benjen family is a t risk i believe it should be him to make a rescue."

"Surely if a rescue attempt is mounted, it would make sense for Lord Stark to accompany them? The risk is great but no-one here has a better desire for this to succeed and would be able to gain the trust and assistance of those within the walls of Winterfell. He would also be able to sense any traps and recognise his family and any other hostages held there"

Callen thought for a moment, "Very well, a rescue shall be mounted, Edmure and Benjen shall lead it, and if Balor can supplement the rescuers, it would greatly increase the Northern Lord's trust of the Ironmen." He turned to Jorah, "Meanwhile, if you can take Moat Cailen for us, I can assure you, you will be compensated for your services."

He then pointed a finger at the Twins, "Everyone rendevous here, Randal Lannister, and Tallahar Tyrell shall sumplement the forces there. Balor you and Edmure, take Benjen and rendevous with the cranogmen in preparation for the resuce of Lord Stark's family. Rhodri, after the Vale has been pacified, take your forces by sea to White Harbour. If you can, relieve the Dreadfort as well." He stood, "Good Luck everyone."
