"And a massive keep in our way that is trapping us in the north." Euric added. "Though I guess what is waiting on the other side isn't much better. Men with swords isn't a preferable replacement to cold weather."

"Well, if you'll permit me I'll have to disagree," Edwyn said nodding his head several times in apparent agreement with himself, "You can't fight cold weather."

Euric laughed. "You're right about that. Ah, but you can catch your death from both. I'd prefer a cozy and warm castle, a maiden by my side..."

Banefort laughed, awkwardly, but in full agreement, "Well I suppose I should be getting going, thank you for letting me enjoy your, errr, campfire." He says gesturing at the smouldering still soggy mess of ash before them.

Edwyn nodded, and headed off. Shortly after he was out of sight there was a loud sound of metal clattering, and a gruff voice shouting, "stupid cocksucker!"

"Well ser, I read while lounging as well. I'm afraid I'm a boring person. The last time I strayed from camp I was nearly killed. My role is as a diplomat, but there is not much diplomacy I can do at the moment." She shrugged and toyed with the ring on her finger. He stared at her and took her hand, holding it still. "The Others dear Maekar, I barely made it out alive," she said with much drama. "But it is true, I lost most of my men when we were seperated from the main army. He scowled.

"You would never do what I wanted, nor do I think you have the patience required to be my lover. Our ideals cross paths and it would not be good for either of us Ser."

He gave her a suspicious look.
"Why would you want your lover to do everything you command with no thoughts of his own in his head? That is not manly, my lady? Wouldn't you rather have a strong man who takes what he wants and does not ask for permission?"

"No, I do not take kindly to rapists and sociopaths. Considering your struggle with the idea, it would be braver for you to succumb to me. I admire intelligence and strength, though, you have a different opinion on what those mean."

His frown deepened.
"You think...you actually think that I would force you?"
