This rider's horse was too panicked; Aranya knew it would be dangerous to try and take control of it now. Instead she met the rider's sword as he rode past her, deflecting his blow while her other hand slipped out her Valyrian dagger, which sliced through his leather to bite deep into his thigh. The man howled as his horse wheeled around for another charge, and then Aranya leapt up into the saddle behind him. She disarmed him with deadly efficiency, and then snapped his neck.

Bracken dances in a circle blocking blow after blow. He flows from defense into attack flawlessly and another of his attackers goes down.

Aranya didn't have the time to call Captain Snow, but the black courser needed no encouragement. He charged an oncoming rider, barreling into his horse, biting its neck. He was bigger than the black brother's mount, and reared and slashed at it with his hooves, screaming like a stallion defending his herd. The other horse forgot its rider; it had to defend itself.

The Black rider who had fallen off his horse stands and aims his bow at Aranya, as he takes aim at her heart. Egg shots him from his prone position. That man dies gurgling.

Aerie swung onto Anarchy in one swift motion and took up the left, meeting an oncoming rider with a deft whack in the face with her blade that served to both knock him senseless as well as bloody. Her courser moved with a lithe grace equal to that of his rider, the two a seamless team that whirled with deadly accuracy and left tattered flesh in their wake. Anarchy slammed his shoulder into a grey stallion, tossing the horse off balance while Aerie’s blow threw him, dead, out of his saddle.
Aerie’s blade became a steel blue blur as she stroked, punched, and shoved her way through the surge, blood splashing across her clothes like reeking paint.

The others were wary now. Aranya stood ready, her sword bloodied, and watched as Bracken dueled, waiting for an opening to help him. She gave Egg a brief nod and raised her shield again.

OOC: yeah, I deleted that.
The black courser killed the other mount and knocked its rider out before coming back to Aranya. She leaped into the saddle, wheeled about and charged at the remaining riders. They scattered, for they'd seen what the black had done to the other horse.

Bracken took a slash from one of his opponents, but disarmed one of the men knocking him to the ground. Turning to face one of the last of the men Bracken laughs, "Brother, surrender."

Aranya came up behind the last man, the black courser breathing hard. She held her sword at the back of his neck as he faced Bracken. "Do as Bracken says."

A large man tried to yank Aerie out of the saddle with paw-like hands. Anarchy shied away from the imposing figure with a squeal, skittering sideways with a kick and allowing his rider to smash the man in the fact with her hilt. Aerie almost winced. That would hurt.
Aerie looked about. She had been so absorbed in her work that she had not even realized their progress. This battle seemed won.

The tip of Aranya's blade pricked the man's neck. "Where are the others?" she demanded.

Bracken was staring the man in the eye, "Clovis don't"
Yet the brother began to attack, and Aranya cut his spine from behind.
Bracken winced sadly at the man, "Fuck!"

With an unreadable expression, Aerie watched the man crumple . This was not good.
