An upscale brothel on the far side of Aegon's Hill, Mally's is a handsome old house with beautiful young whores, and its patrons are the rich and powerful of King's Landing. Merchants, nobles, ganglords, visiting ambassadors - Mally's is the pleasure house to visit.

OOC: Just made a weird misunderstanding, must edit post.
Mally wrote a letter in a long and laborious hand, and packed off a sack of gold coins. She sent it to her patron by rider.
She sat down on her bed, exhausted. In the next room, she could hear the wild screams of a whore being bedded, urging on her customer in anticipation of a large tip.

As she led several members of the Roaches up to a room for their conference, Mally begged them to be as discreet as possible. "The last thing I need is Lord Stark cracking down on us," she said. While she cringed at what Stark would say, Mally liked her new life too much to give it up. She had money, she had an establishment, she had a house and a clean bed she didn't have to share anymore, and good food.
She just hoped Tilda never came here.
"You don't have to worry about Lord Stark," one gangster chuckled, leering at her. "He's gone off for that council, ain't he? Besides, what should a pretty thing like you fear? Just open your legs for him and he'll let you do anything."
Mally wanted to slap him, but she needed his money. She went coldly downstairs, and sent up her most vile wine. Maybe it'll poison them.

Mally Avalon read the letter at the kitchen table while the cook - a new woman, and very talented - laid lunch on the rough-hewn table. The lamb was stewed with sage and parsley and the beer was newly bought. Mally's stomach growled hungrily, but first she read the letter with a frown. Hadn't he been told...?
Well, never mind. She wrote a reply, and tried to check her spelling. Reading and writing was so hard. At first Mally hadn't wanted to learn - what use was it? Nobody but the highborn and maesters needed it - but Tilda had insisted. Now Mally was grateful for Tilda's education. Still, she was sure she had made some mistakes.
She sent the letter off, and dug into her lunch hungrily. It felt good to have her own kitchen. It felt so good.

In the Street of Sisters, one of Mally younger whores, a pretty thirteen-year old with silvery hair, found that a small group of Summer Islanders were walking around the city. She persuaded two pretty ebon-skinned girls to come back to Mally's with her. Mally had always said that it was important to have variety for the clientele.

When Shajura, beloved of the Princess of Dorne and head of her brothels, heard that some of her own country women were being lured away to Mally's brothel, she began some discrete inquiries about the business.

OOC: They're not being lured! It's a straightforward offer, and Summer Islanders don't see a problem with it. Mally kept time free to hold meetings with various people, even the mistresses of lesser brothels. Any who wished to speak with her were free to meet her.

When Mally learned that the Summer Islander Shajura was getting riled, she sent the woman a basket of flowers and peaches, with a note. For a woman as lovely as the gifts I have sent, I would gladly give you a place in my house. However, since I could not get the lovely Shajura, I had to settle for her lesser sisters. If you would like those girls, I'd be willing to make a trade.

Shajura eyes Mally's note. Mally did not have the hand writing of a well born lady though her punctuation wasn't bad. She sent by return messenger a large basket of Dornish silks and wine, with a brief note. A little something for you and your girls, do hope you all enjoy.
In her research, Shajura had found out that Mally was the niece of the well known King's Landing businessman, Ser Arguel Flowers, and had a very proper sister. Arguel was out of town, but the sister was in town. She dropped her an anonymous note. "Let that fox ramble among the clucking chickens" she thought as an unliveryed servant went off to deliver the message.

Tilda was doing her embroidery when the messenger arrived.
There is a brothel on Aegon's Hill that is bringing disrepute to your family. No Avalon sister can survive the degrading the name receives there.
She at first wanted to dismiss the vile anonymous note but couldn't, so she asked a Blackshield near the house if there was any truth to the note and he replied that there was a new brothel named Mally's. She immediately press ganged one of the Black Shields to go with her.
She marched into the living room of the establishment, yelling "Mally, Mally Avalon get down here right now!" When Mally appeared she cried,
"How could you? You have blackened the Avalon name forever! How are Betrina and I ever to show our faces again in public? And to think of the shame you bring to our Aunt and Uncle Flowers!"

Mally glanced around and then yanked Tilda into a dark corner and hissed at her. "What are you doing here? We can't have respectable girls here, it'll ruin our reputation! What will our customers say?"

In a corner of the large, gently lit reception room, Lord Bulwer dandied a freckled girl on his lap, his hand down under her bodice. She was giggling. Another lord was kissing a topless girl, massaging her breasts. They were all well known names, but Mally's was known for its discretion and privacy. Nevertheless, it was scary sight that Tilda had never seen.

Mally saw the note in Tilda's hand snatched it. She read it, and then raised an eyebrow. "Dornish silks and wine one day, Tilda Avalon the next. Is this the best she can do?" Mally laughed. Then she pulled Tilda into the kitchen, where her patrons would not hear or see her sister, and sat her down at the table. The cook brought them strong tea in round earthenware cups.
"Now," Mally said calmly. "What is the problem? And keep your voice down."
