Ariel gave a wide grin. "Ah, Lord Roxton," she said. "What a pleasant surprise to see you around my humble camp-within-a-camp." /// Ariel's guards and maids watched the men carefully as they searched the tents and areas, but did not interfere directly.

"Not so pleasant. I am following up on some dark words." Roxton replied. He opens his mouth to continue, but one of his men calls out.
A man almost on the edge of camp is now digging at the ground. "My Lord this earth was recently turned."
Roxton smiled knowingly and walked over to watch his man work, "I know you have questions, but you can defend your self in a moment."

Ariel looked at Roxton and sighed. "I do not fucking need this. First Kyma manages to get herself kidnapped a day before I can collect her, now whoever the hell sent you on a wild goose chase."
"Watch that man," she ordered her guards.

Roxton whistled shrilly and his own guards approach, they keep back just watching the one man working. Eventually the man pulls out a long shape covered in a dirty blanket. Placing it on the ground he flips it aside to reveal the Valaryian Steel sword, Heartsbane.
Roxton looked to Ariel and raised an eyebrow.

Ariel looked at the sword. "Huh. Where did that come from?" she asked.

Roxton snickered, "I imagine some one planted it in that earth to implicate you in the murder of Simon Tarly." He shrugged, "But it will certainly be enough evidence to muddy... or clear the water enough for Marbrand to be released."

Ariel nodded. "I figured something like that. It's a rather clumsy plant," she added. "Though you can release Marbrand anyway. Whoever tried to set him up was an idiot, a traitor or probably both."

Roxton smiled, and nodded for his guards to take the sword and prepare to leave, "Plots within plots. Plans hidden amongst plans, and schemes for schemes sake." He pulled at his waxed mustache, "Put eight venomous snakes in a sack and you end up with only dead vipers. I believe they say that in Dorne." He turned to leave.

Ariel raised a hand. "Hold a moment. First, I'll tell you what I'm fairly sure happened; that the Wildlings killed Tarly for simple blood revenge over his fuck-up. And second..." She grinned. "The sword was found in my camp. Doesn't that make it mine, since there's no Tarlys left?"

Roxton stopped, "Are you claiming it by conquest? Because otherwise I believe it is the Kings."

Ariel shook her head. "No, by that standard it belongs to Rask of the Free Folk. I was merely thinking it counts as found treasure, and the laws on that have always been murky." She grinned.

Roxton shook his head, "I did the finding. Either you knew about it, or you would have left with it still buried beneath the earth." Roxton shrugged, "Regardless you can come and argue with Selwyn for it. And have you ever heard of a ruler parting with a Valaryan Steel sword once they got their pudgy fingerprints on the shining blade?"

Ariel laughed. "Rhaenys might, you know," she responded. "She has always been generous to me."

Roxton nodded, "I can see that. She had decided you have a good head on your shoulders. Not every one agrees with that. But I guess you will just have to prove how wise you are."

Ariel smiled. "Certainly good enough that it's still on. I'll see you later, Lord Roxton."
