Oswell nods, "A fair inquiry. I believe Lord Greyjoy plans on landing at Maidenpool, or perhaps Duskendale. Either way it is a short march to Harrenhal. We will arrive much faster than the Thatcher boy as so I would want to stay well wide of Harrenhal, and try to set up a position directly in his path, ambush him before he has time to know what happened. He will not be expecting such an attack so far south, but I expect he will have scouts out just the same...so will we. Once we know what route he takes it will be a simple matter of finding a good spot to wait. Did you have any ideas my lord, your opinion is most welcome."

"The only concern I can have is that area is very close to Kings Landing and other keeps. We have no information on the lords if they support us or Thatcher. I don't think I need to point out the problem with being noticed by someone in Kings Landing."

"I know the danger of being caught by Thatchers men well. Perhaps then..." Oswell walks over to his desk and glances at a map of the riverlands. "What would you say to a shore landing rather than landing at a port? It seems it would be a safer route, avoid the eyes of the cities and the Ironborn could still land us safely. I would like to think the river lords are loyal to our cause, but they are sworn to Mallister and no one knows who he fights beside anymore."

"I agree. From what I can understand of this Ragnor he comes from the Stepstones and being an ironborn I'm sure he will know a few places that would be perfect. As to the land you'll need someone you trust leading the scouts I suggest your man Darry there." Edmure gesture toward Ser Vincent.

Oswell looks at Ser Vincent, "Yes, I will have Darry in charge of the scouts. He knows the lands north of Harrenhal better than I and seems to have a knack for finding what he seeks without being seen. I will have to speak to Ragnor before we set out from White Harbor, as you say he will know of a good place to land the ships without drawing unwanted attention."
"How many men will you be bringing with you my lord?"

"I will bring as many of the Mander force that I can. I must speak with the Lady Oakheart about this as she joined with the us at the Wall. I hope it is at least 500."

"Good, that will leave us will near twice what Thatcher commands. I believe that will be enoug hto over-take the traitor in good order. And mayhaps we can find some others on the way."

"Yes we can only hope. Hopefully if this goes will the war could be over soon. How long has it been since you've seen Riverrun?"

"Well over three years. The blasted Others over-ran us in short order and from what I hear it is in ruin. It falls to me to restore the castle and my House to their former glory. Good thing I have meen like these," Oswell gestures to Cleos and Erren, "to help me in that endeavor. The Riverlands will be a proud land once more. Have you had any reports of Lord Mallister? I have tried to find out what I can of what he has been up to since we went North but I can find nothing."

"None I am sorry. I hope you can do that Lord Tully I always believed the Riverlands was meant to be ruled by a Tully."

"And so it is meant to be. Lord Mallister may rule for now, but should he give me the smallest reason to believe he is a traitor he will find himself a head shorter. Riverrun will once more hold the Lord of the Riverlands. I must ask though my lord, what will become of th Reach now with Oakheart and Tarly being murdered? Who leads the Reach now?"

Edmure looked at the man, "The Reach? If you speak of the Mander or the Far Reach. I do not know what the queen thinks to do about the Hightowers and the Far Reach they must have a new Lord. As for the Mander I have spoken to her and hope she agrees with my and my Kin."

"I am sure she will see the wisdom in your arguments. the Mander needs a man like you to see it through, to leave to a lesser man would be an insult."
Oswell pours another glass of wine, "Ragnor said that we leave at dawn, will your men be ready to ride? Thatcher has a head start on us and I wish to be well ahead of him if it can be managed."
