"Little point in fear after the Long War, Sand. At least these assholes can't harm me after death. I have no wife, no children to fear for should I fail in my duty. As to Thatcher, well...if Steve falls, his own end will be shortly thereafter." Dyther followed the man wherever he led.

"Many would say those same words but still harbor fear in their hearts." Julian replied, another set of guards step out immediately before the large purple pavilion of the Prince Martell. "If you will leave your weapons with these men, I will take you in to see the Princess."

Dyther undoes his swordbelt and hands it to a guard. "I am not most men, Master Sand."

Julian simply nodded, "You have snatched the words from my mouth." He smiled at Dyther, and bowed, "Enter she wishes to met with you alone."

Dyther enters the pavilion with a quick stride.

The room he enters is barely lit and scented with burning incense. Large silk pillows in various purples and rose colors cover the floor. Princess Aurora is reclined on several pillows her long black hair is long, and her form fitting dress is long covers her almost to her bare feet. "Dyther Morrigen, please relax." She studies him with her knowingly eyes.

Dyther stands at half attention as a good soldier should. "Princess Martell." He finally runs a hand through his own black hair hair. "Must be hard to find incense this far north."

"We Martells are very resourceful." Aurora smiled, "You would be surprised at the things we know." She laughed deep in her throat.

"Possibly. I assume you know more than me, else I'd never have bothered coming." Dyther feels mildly uncomfortable, in Dornish company without a sword. "I had hoped the identity of my enemy might become known."

"I know who he is. The Straw Man." Aurora replied, "He is a deadly man. I wonder what he saw in you." She studied him, and her smile turned wicked, "You are not an ugly man. Maybe he wished to bed you before you tried to kill him."

"He wished to have me kill you, your father, and your friend out there. As to why, well, I have little enough to lose. Anyone who survived the Last Battle is a dangerous man, Princess Aurora. I thrived in it."

Aurora looked at him and shook her head, "I doubt he intended for you to do anything of the sort. He intended for you to die attacking us so we would withdraw from this alliance with such a blatant attack by the Hands own man."

"Oh, that's probable. No normal swordsmen would have a prayer of actually landing a blow against one of you. No doubt the Others felt the same. Either way, you surely can't leave the alliance a thousand leagues from Dorne with no way to return home." Dyther shrugged. "I'll assume this means his name isn't known to you?"

"He is not a normal man. As far as I know he has no name." Aurora replied, "Is it important to you? Names can be shed as easily as clothes." She pulls at the neckline of her gown in demonstration, exposing more bosom before letting the gown fall back in place.

"He bleeds as a man, he can die as one. I suppose Steve shall have to suffice. I would have thought names would mean much and more to people in a position such as yourself, princess." Dyther was annoyed. The bastard HAD a goddam name.
