"She did, and made it to the vanguard or here. Not that she could have gone anywhere else." Dyther sounds more like he's talking to himself. So, the Traitor's Son was a traitor. Or perhaps merely incompetent. He leaned towards traitor. Incompetents didn't live through the Long Night.

The man shrugged, "I suppose that must be how it happened, you seem pretty sharp. No wonder the Queen has asked for your aid."

"Perhaps it's how it happened. I guess we'll never know. She definitely left the army on her own, though." The Queen asked for me because Steve asked for me, I thought. "Can't honestly say I've ever met her. It will be....an honor."

"I've been told no one's first meeting with royalty ever goes the way they'd expect it to," the man replied as he tossed the blood soaked rag to the ground, and removed another from his pocket, and pressed it to his face.

"Talking must hurt, ser. Wound'll never seal if you keep talking. Apologies for prompting you to speak." They approach the queen's quarters.

Oswell smiles at her accent and knowledge of the Westerosi language. "As well as can be in this miserable cold. I much prefer the warmth and flowing waters of the Riverlands to this frozen land. You must think our land a hell from what you have had the misfortune to have seen."

She turned his words over in her head for a moment. "Hell yes. Very cold, I don't like. Don't want to see snow ever again. I like warm water too, being on ship yes? It small home for me." The words tumbled from her mouth unsurely and she looked at him extpectantly for approval that he understood.

Oswell nodded his understanding. "Yes, the deck of a ship is a welcome feeling. I am most at home sailing the wide rivers of the South in the height of Summer. I will show it to you when this business of war is over. Would that please you my lady?"

Oswell let out a laugh. "You are right, it would not be fair to not see all of Westeros in the summer. I do hope you love it as much as I, it may be war-torn and in shambles right now but we will see to that in due time. I am curious though, what has brought you to Westeros in the first place? I would have thought one as beautiful as you would rather stay out of the troubles of a foreign land. Is Myr not more pleasant than the cold and misery of all this," Oswell asks as he gestures around and the snow and wind.

Rekhmire translated some parts of it for her. "Mm, father is strong man, mm, blood of journey and warrior. Merchant and trader, mother give me talent of song and beauty, people say intell-intelligence too." She breathed in before continuing. "Parents give food and thing to Queen for journey, for mm, biziness yes? Good trade and I am image of faith as you say."

Oswell thought he understod what she meant. "So you are here as a measure of good faith, but not of your on volition? Well I am glad you are here to brighten our surroundings."

"I come for adventure too. But not so anymore. Lots of death and I was.." She looked for the right word with Rekhmire and he said it for her. "Naive." "Niave", Shah echoed. "Yes many men happy to see my face and call out they thoughts."
