Julien nodded, "Thank you then. Would you like a reward?"

"Nah, I got enough money for myself. Watch your back and your lady's, Julian. The man's a wizard with that damned knife." Dyther turns to walk away.

Lord Simon Tarly rode silently at the head of the Reach column, brooding to himself and paying just enough attention to his surroundings to guide his horse around the footmen that marched all around the meager cavalry that was left in the army.

Ryam comes along eating an apple, and Micheal does the same but with a chicken leg. They both look at Blackfyre and then each other, then back to Blackfyre,"Wjhat chwant?" They said, almost indecipherable through the food in there mouth." Maekar glared at the two youths. "First I want you to remember that you are speaking to the queen's cousin, and that you should speak to me with respect. Second, I wanted to tell you that Her Grace has decided you shall both squire for me since I've no squire of her own. You'll find that I am neither as kind nor as easygoing as she is. Do you understand my meaning?" They shrugged,"Nope I have no idea what your talking about." They finished there food, Ryam throwing the apple over his back and Micheal plopping the chicken bone at Blackfyre's feet. They smiled gleefully, knowing full well that Maekar was a hot head.

Maekar spotted Simon and reigned in his fiery temper before his sister's councillor. He beckoned Simon over, indicating that he should wait until the two young Ironmen had been dealt with.
"I am not one of your Ironborn captains and I will not be spoken to with such disrespect. You are members of the queen's court until she chooses to release you. I will have your respect, if you wish to prosper."

Simon frowned at the two youths, obviously trying to provoke the Targaryen bastard purposefully. His fingers twitched, but he did not reach up for his sword as he desired to do. "Ser," he said respectfully to Maekar. "I wondered if mayhap you could tell me where her grace the Queen is, I have matters of state to discuss."

They had all gathered around a fire once again, this time having "upgraded" from logs to planks lain across large sacks of... something (Lew Flowers had cut one open, taken a handful of the seeds that had fallen out and tried them; And wound up vomiting for the rest of the day...). They had a tripod, with a black pot hanging from it, which Emmett diligently stirred; Someone had made that soothing mint hot-drink, which was greedily drank; Someone had also found honeyed bread twists, which were also rapidly dissapearing...
"Ya, know what happened to the Traitor, eh?", Emmett began, his body not moving from his stirring, but his dark brown eyes moving to each man around the fire.
"The woman he takes must be rough in the bed," Notch spoke up, tracing his pointer finger down the side of his cheek.
"Naw... I heard he got that from the Queenie herself - ," one of the newer members, a "Wall-man", spoke up.
"So... SHE's the rough one to the poor Traitor. All the Targaryen women have claws for hands ya know. A soft caress of the cheek...," Notch interrupted, finishing by tracing his finger down his cheek again.
"Ha ha! They shit fire, too," Lew Flowers spat onto the ground, and poured more strong pure alcohol into the mint drink. "Two of the men I was rollin' dice with heard, one of the Dragons has gone on dissapearing. I says, the Traitor has something to do with it. 'Napped her for his Daddy, I think."
Notch made a face, and snorted, "Thaddeus' Own, eh? I wouldn't doubt it... 'Cept for what I saw against the Others. He sure is one hells of a good actor, that's for damn sure..."
"Naw... He was fightin' for his life; That'd make anyone a good actor ya shit. Naw, why ya think he's been leading the forward line? He didn't want to be around Lord Selwyn and the Queen for his plottin'."
"That's why he was picking the men," Erren finally began, "Loyal, Traitor-men, ya think?, he nodded, takeing a sip of the steaming drink. "I don't doubt it, I don't doubt it. I'd like to bloody well know who - "
... All eyes had turned towards a commotion, where the Reachmen had made camp ...

You'll tend my horse from here until Winterfell, while your friend attends to my weapons and armour. It will good practice for our arrival in Winterfell. The both of you will assist the stablemen at Winterfell until I give you permission to cease. I'll wager you'll stink of horsedung within a day."

He nodded his head in approval,"Well that was a start." He smiled at Maekar and then nudged Micheal in the ribs,"He's a quick learner isn't he." With that, the two went about there business as squires.
