Three men from North of the wall who each claim to be the King above the wall, host another feast. This one is out under the stars, surrounding many camp fires. Wild music plays and woman and men dance as they drink. No food is provided, but barrels of mead lie next to every fire.

Attracted by the promise of mead, wildlings from Rask's group slowly begin to filter over to the fires. Late in the night, Rask arrives, his features taut with smoldering anger.

Lonn "Stick" King of The Golden Cave looks at Rask and waves him over. The Stick-King is tall, old, bald and gnarly. His dominion is roughly twenty men, and they are all kin.

Rask speaks with one of the younger members of his band for a time, his eyes drifting over to the Stick-King after a while. When Lonn beckons, Rask walks over to the other old man.
Smoldering anger marks Rask's expression, and when he speaks the words are savage, delivered in a low snarl. "What would you have of me, your grace?"

Lonn smiled, "You going to bow to me now? That is surprising. I did not see it of you. We have met haven't we. Are you already my subject." His smile faded as he studied Rask.

A snarl can be heard in the darkness somewhere beyond the fire. Rask resists a sudden impulse to run the man through with Gods' Sight. His eye is dark.
"I do not recall having ever met you. It is for the title you've claimed that I hold you in contempt. If you have words for me then speak them."

Lonn sneered, "I have no fear of you." He rubbed the blade of his large hatchet shoved into his belt. "My family and I would eat you alive. I earned my title by murdering my father, and only the man who kills me can claim it."

Rask sneers back. "Of course not. Only the wise man fears. The fool is brave in all things." Rask removes his trident from his back. Its black points reflect the firelight. "Raise your axe, Lonn."

Lonn pulls his axe and attacks immediately. His family moves into aid their King.

Rask raises his trident, jabbing at the other man's throat. An ear-splitting roar emanates from the dark outside the forest, and something large comes thundering towards the fight. Men and women from Rask's band draw weapons and rush into the melee.

Rask keeps the point of his trident hovering over Lonn's throat for a second, then raises it and takes a step back.
"Get up," he says.

Lonn stood slowly, and glared at Rask. He breathed hard one hand clutched to his chest, and one to his leg.

"A strong fighter and able leader is a man to be admired," Rask grates. "A king is a man to be despised. Which one are you, Lonn of the Golden Caves?"

"I am both." Lonn spits at Rask.

The trident lowers slightly. "No longer. Now you must choose."
