"Is this true?" Horas turned his gaze to Rhaenys, "Do you make gifts of my lands with out consulting me?"

"My Prince." Euric said quickly with an apologetic smile. "Immediately after I put my request her grace said to me that we should of course come to see you about this matter; Starfall is your land after all and Queen Rhaenys and I both respect this. I merely came to her first for she is my queen and I know her well. Do not believe we were trying to fool you out of a castle, for that was our least intent."

Horas stared at Euric, his hand trembled, "You do not know me. Not at all." His weak gaze studied Euric's face.

"If you do not wish to continue this I can of course come at some other time to speak of the matter, when perhaps you are feeling better."

Horas closed his eyes but did not immediately reply.

Euric stood waiting, not taking his gaze off Prince Horas.

Rhaenys spoke up.
"Prince Horas, I meant only to reward a good friend, not to insult you. If it please you, it may be that there is something Ser Euric or I can do for you in return for your support in this matter."

Horas smiled but his eyes remained closed, "I am not insulted, yet. Just confused." His smile turned hard, "I hate confusion, it has caused more deaths then the Others could ever dream of."

"Of course, but why are you confused, Prince Horas? Perhaps we can remedy that."

"Why would you presume so much?" Horas replied, his eyes still closed tight.

"I don't believe there is such a thing as presumption when it comes to rulership," Rhaenys said quietly.

Horas replied softly, "You are a young queen still. Presumption will keep you from becoming an old one." He coughed, and it racked his whole body.
One of the pretty maids, moved forward and said, "He is not well, please leave."

Ser Euric shook his head slightly. "Until some later time, Prince Martell." With that he left.

"I hope you feel better soon," Rhaenys said to Horas. "I will send my own Maester to tend you."
She followed Euric out.
"Poor man," she said. "I see that we will have to tread carefully with Dorne, Euric. I don't envy you."

He replied with an angry grunt and stalked off.
