Halliron rested on his elbows, the bearskins weighing heavily on his body to keep the cold out. He looked around, trying to see if there was anyone present. His side ached heavily as did his head, he saw that someone had used their healing skill to nurse him back to health. He also had a foul taste in his mouth, which must have been some kind of medicine to make him sleep so he could heal faster.

Lady Benedicta Caron shuffled in, carrying a large satchet of herbs. "Ah. You're finally awake, ser. I see you've begun to recover from the chill. And we won't even need to chop anything." She clucked softly at the man.

"Whe..Where am I?" Halliron asked a little disorginized. "Did we win?"

Benedicta nodded. "Aye, we did," she said softly. "The Others are destroyed. And you looked fair to join them for a while there, Lord Oakheart. Everyone thinks you gone except us here, and soon my mistress."

"Mistress? Who's is that?" Halliron asked, having a lot of questions in his head "Why doesn't my men know I am alive? Will you go and tell them? I need them to know"

Benedicta looked at Lord Halliron with a shrug. "Your men are under the Lady Oakheart's command, have no fear of that. Until now we thought you'd be dead."
"As it stands, Lord Dawnrose thinks he'll inherit the Mander. That's why the mistress decided to keep you under wraps. Lots of things can happen to a sick and wounded man, you understand, if he's in the way."

Halliron sighed and laid down on his back again.
"We've just fought a war and won, but now I have to worry about getting killed for a position I am not even sure is important anymore."
He raised himself into a sitting position.
"You never mentioned your mistresses name? Will I meet her soon?"

Benedicta looked at Halliron and shrugged. "That's up to you. You're a free man. My mistress is the Princess Ariel Targaryen, though I'd rather you not remember that I serve her. You'd have known her as Ariel Wyl, Lord Selwyn's woman-of-all-trades, but for some laughable thing of honor that I thought limited to men, she's claimed the Dragons' name."
She paused, then continued. "I'm not to stop you from leaving, but if you want me to bring you the Princess, I can."

Halliron tried to stand up, but his head just spinned and he felt nauseous. He sat back down.
"It seems like I need a little more rest before I go anywhere. You can bring your mistress to me, I want to thank the woman who saved me."

Benedicta nodded. "Rest. You're just another sick man in a tent here, so you're safe."
She left. //// Benedicta returned about half an hour later, bringing a tall woman in a shawled and hooded cloak. The woman pulled her hood back, revealing her distinguishing hair and eyes, and gave a slight smile. "Welcome back, Lord Oakheart. I knew you wouldn't die so easily."

He looked at the woman that had been instrumental in saving her.
"I thank you for saving my life, Princess Ariel. I am in great debt to you." he said with a tired voice. "Septa Beotta always said I was to stubborn for my own good, maybe I should have just died out there, like my father and so many of his men."

Ariel laughed at that. "Not while I have something to say about it, my Lord Halliron. You live, and your thanks are all I need." She knelt down next to the man with a grin.
"Though you'd best be quiet about any debt you owe. As long as the Queen Rhaenys considers me an enemy, my touch seems a lot like a leper's lately."

Halliron looked up with a confused look upon his face.
"Enemy? Why would your sister be your enemy?" he said as his head began spinning again.
