Their ship docked, and Aranya, Selwyn and Brynden came out onto the docks. Aranya's courser was led out after her.
"We'll see Elane quickly, and then go North," Aranya promised. She looked around, and was pleasantly surprised to see how much construction work was happening, and how much had been rebuilt.

Men from the Red Keep in Baratheon livery rode to Maidenpool, and ordered that Andry's Fury, one of the official fleet, be made ready to sail.
The harbor of Maidenpool busied itself in preparations, wondering if one of the princes were coming.

Aranya, Selwyn and their retinue arrive at Maidenpool harbor and board Andry's Fury, Aranya cradling Brynden in her arms. Aranya's and Selwyn's horses are loaded on as well, the black courser whinnying to Aranya before he is led under. And the ship sets sail.

Callen rode through the city to meet with the forces gathering outside the wall. As he rode he waved to several workers calling to him. He was fairly well known among them, having spent time during the rebuilding of the city. New roads were being lain down, and the snows were not so fierce that new, more permanent building were going up. From mud and sod, to ashes, from ashes to stone. Callen thought with satisfaction, one day this city will rival Oldtown.
As he passed by the market square he saw Rhett flowers come out of an inn shaking hands with Arguel. He waved him over. "Flowers, feel free to come and joing, I'm going to inspect the army." He gave him a smile, "Inspecting a maid in there I gather?"

"Heh, not today, your grace. I will surely ride with you."

As Callen rode back from inspecting the camp with Rhett he heard the sounds from the tourney in the market square. Callen had decided to not leave until after it was done, otherwise most of the men would still be in the city, either drinking or whoring, or both. It had been a while since he had seen a tourney, although truth be told this was less of a tourney and more of a brawl. "Let's go check it out." He said to Rhett. He rode his horse down the cobbled streets, an improvement Callen had insisted upon. The old streets of King's Landing had mostly been packed dirt, and when it rained it turned them into a mix of muck and horse shit.

Rhett said nothing but smiled and spurred his horse to follow Callen.

"Well this is quite a band of mob justice. Who are we going to hang?" Piers laughs.
Looking to Rhodri, "Fish Bone Inn." Piers smiles at the crowd.

Rhodri sees Aranya and Aerie in the crowd. "What are the women doing here, Selwyn?"

"Don't take that tone, Rhodri. This woman was beating your ass since she was nine."

"Looks like riding horses Rhodri. I didn't bring my horse Rhodri, I feel a little foolish now." Piers looks about and then flashes his best rougish grin at the women, "I do not suppose one of you would be kind enough to share with you mount with me."

"Oh, get up," Aranya said impatiently. She reached down and hauled Piers up into the saddle behind her. The black courser stamped disagreeably, but the weight did not seem to bother him.
