Jhaqo and Iggo are wondering through the people, boozing with mead and looking for a chat, or a wench, or both.

Ariel laughed. "Perhaps when you're struck by a falling star, you can bring me the metal," she said with a grin. "Unfortunately, I don't exactly know who's supposed to marry me off, so I'm staying out of the market. Not that you'll hear a good Dornish woman complaining at a chance to play the field."

Imry makes eye contact with the Dothraki. He's pleased to see that he isn't the only foreign born man among the survivors.

"I only know the virtues of the Dornishwomen from the song," Old Dog admitted, "But they sound lovely."

Jhaqo spots the Braavosi and drags Iggo along with him.
"Feasting as a warrior should after a victory, right?" he said with a half-drunk tone.

Imry laughed, "A victory over the undead and the undying requires something more the usual...", he said. "...Hot stew?", offering it to the gentlemen.

Talyn snort derisively, "You'll remember at the time that the world was overrun with Ice-demons. Being among the living wasn't exactly anyone's idea of a good time Princess. Especially if instead of being the heroine swooping in back a beast of myth, it's partially your fault all this has happened. So yes, it did occur to me that dying in battle to try and undo what my father had done was probably the best ending I could hope for. It beats getting burned at the stake, as you'd suggested earlier." "If you best hope was dying at the hands of the Others why did you even fight. Just give it up and lay down." Kyma sneered, "You are a fool. It appears House Thatcher is weak."

"If you best hope was dying at the hands of the Others why did you even fight. Just give it up and lay down." Kyma sneered, "You are a fool. It appears House Thatcher is weak." "Bugger House Thatcher," Talyn snarled back, for some reason this little princess' sneers were infuriating him in a way he'd long sense given up, "It's a bullshit title bought by treachery, and I don't want it. Now I know for you this is all roses. The rise of the Targaryen Princesses you've been waiting for since you were knee high to a bed bug! Swoop in on the back of your dragon and be everyone's darling, but for the rest of us it was a bleeding apocalypse. And so while you can spend the rest of your pretty little life recounting how you saved Westeros, I have to sit around remembering how House Thatcher almost destroyed the world. House Thatcher weak, shit. You'd be screwed if they were, cause everything would be hunky-dory, and no one would give a fuck for the little Princesses that time forgot!" It occurs to Talyn only after he finished his rant that he is probably going to be flogged.

Ariel moved next to Talyn and spoke. "The man speaks the truth, Princess," she said in a frozen tone. "Before you call Thaddeus Thatcher weak, spend four years battling his agents without a clue who they are save the greensight and the gods' own luck, knowing that even your most trusted and oldest men can have been subverted in the fifty years since your network was even intact. Talyn Thatcher broke free of this because he knew it was right, and he stood with the King, and now perhaps the Queen, because of the strength of his convictions. That he believes he may deserve death for his father's actions does him no dishonor."

Kyma slapped him across the face, "I was raised on a farm doing chores, and raising Dragons. You are the poor little rich boy who feels so sorry for himself he is trying to end his pitiful pain. 'My daddy is a bad man so instead of proving I am good or working to counter him I am going to wallow in self pity and give up'." She jabbed her finger into her face, "Your daddy is a failure as well. You do not have to atone for half the sins you think he is guilty of. He failed. Backed the wrong horse. I bet he is so proud of you to realize that you choose the winning side." Her voice was loud and fiery.

And we all know how well you did, you need not constantly remind us of your skills. Thatcher is still a fool and defeated." She jabbed her finger at Ariel to punctuate each word of her last sentence. It is unclear which Thatcher too which she is referring.

Talyn didn't have a response to that so stood dumbfounded for a second. Part of him was still furious with this red headed woman jabbing him in the chest with a pointy finger, while the other half had already conceded her point.
"Well, I'm still here aren't I? I guess we'll find out how proud he is when I get to King's Landing."

Kyma glared at Thatcher, "Well Mister Thatcher, you still have a lot of work to do before you can prove to me you are a man."

Ariel smirked. "I see my King was already praising my deeds,'" she responded with a snort. "Thaddeus Thatcher is not beaten yet, so save your celebrations for what you've earned." She turned to Talyn. "Sorry you ran afoul of the woman, Ser Talyn."
