A letter arrives from the North,
Callen Baratheon I grow tired of waiting. Should I ride south to speak with you in person?

A raven arrives for the King.
"Your grace -- stationed at the Golden Tooth. The bulk of the Lannister forces await me along the River Road. The Gold Road should be clear, or minimally guarded. We await your move. -The Hand."

"Ser? I don't know. I just came onto this post. The old steward fell down the Rookery stairs last week." Shruging he picks at his teeth.

"And this doesn't make you wonder? As to his sudden death, the disappearance of his records, you don't think at all about what might have happened?"

"What do you mean?" He looked confused.

"A man dies in an unusual way. His records, known to be meticulous, vanish. The thought of foul play does not weigh on your mind?" Fell asks.

"Oh... I just write messages for people I don't worry about things like that. Maybe you should tell a Goldcloak."

"You...are the man's..successor. I would think you would worry about the hazards of your job."
