"Yes to toast!" He raised his arms in the air, "We must toast this agreement!" He drew two small cups from his bag of oddments along with a small bottle. "I call it soda," he said as he poured the liquid into two glasses, "another of my inventions, it's made using an infusion of goat urine, and-oh never mind, drink up!" He swallowed his in one go, not watching to see if Elane drank hers.

"Goat urine?" Elane squawked. "What - what is it invented for? Surely it can't advance toast?"

Vinci looked up at her, a mischievous grin on his face. "Just kidding my dear, no goat urine. It was invented for pleasure of course! It's marvelously delicious, and it will put oak in your manhood too! Sorry, womanhood I suppose."

Elane's face was brightly flushed. "Er, I don't need any oak," she said feebly, blushing even harder. Goat urine was invented for pleasure? I'm sure I don't want to know what kind." She paused as if steeling her nerves, and then downed the drink in one go.
"Oh," she said afterwards. "Er."

OOC: There's actually no goat urine, it's just regular soda
IC: "Good isn't it?" asked Reed, still beaming at her.

"Yes," Elane nodded, looking more and more bemused.

Vinci looked at Elane's face, and then took on a scholarly tone, "Ah yes, that would be the bubbles, I call them fizzles."

"Fizzles," said Elane faintly. "How apt."

Vinci smiled, putting all his things back into his bag. "I thought so. You'll excuse me won't you? I have some duties to attend to." He stamped his foot, slightly miffed, "And now it seems as though Lancel has run off, will you excuse me?"

"Of course," Elane said, recovering herself. "I myself shall return to the throne room. We will continue our studies later though, maester!"

One of the servants sees the Royce seal on the letter, and knows that Lady Elane is at a funeral. He takes the letter and runs to the funeral site.

Lady Elane's man returns with the letter. The only seal available is the King's seal, so that is stamped into the wax seal. Although Maester Reed is not there, his apprentice Lancel sends the raven to Raventree Hall.
