After a respectable amount of time, Thatcher cross the room, and sided up to Frey.
"Lord Frey, pleasure, as always." His tone neutral, not sarcastic, but with minimal inflection of any sort.
"This is the last of the rebels then? You are to be commended on his capture."

Ben Bettley walked up to Lord Lannister, and his sister and bowed deeply, "Milord, Milady. I wanted to tell you how much I admire your manor, buts the Beetle Manor to shame, surely."

"Shame? Of course not. The intention is to compliment the rest of the city, improve the whole of it by improving a part." Tyberion replies.

"Well then you have succeeded, Milord." Ben glanced around, "But I think much of King's Landing is beyond even your golden touch."

"Give it time, Bettley, give it time. Oldtown was not built in a day."

Finding Ser Corbray occupied by other guests, Quentyn moves over to the window where he sees a man, quite possibly an Irwyn.
"It seems you're as disgusted as I am that Frey is parading Barclay around like a dog." Quentyn remarked, frowning.

"Give it time, Bettley, give it time. Oldtown was not built in a day." Ben replied easily, "Don't be too thorough. I like some of the dark places in this city more then the palace." He snickered to himself, "Whats beauty with out something to compare it to."

"It seems you're as disgusted as I am that Frey is parading Barclay around like a dog." Quentyn remarked, frowning. Loren nodded, "Aye, terrible things are done in war. . . sometimes thorugh necessity. . . sometimes through hatred or anger," he took a sip from a gauntlet which was clear like water, "I think man should limit the wickedness to what is required lest we fall to far from the graces of the Seven." He smiled, "The name is Loren Irwyn and this is my wife Sara," he said introducing his young wife. Who smiled and curtsied.

"This is the last of the rebels then? You are to be commended on his capture." "Thank you, lord..." very short pause as he recalls the fellow's name and position. "Thatcher. I'm sure I left plenty of citizens for you to stalk, though."

Thadeus raised his eyebrow curiously. "Rebels are the least of my concerns. His Grace has no difficulty in crushing those who declare themselves his enemies. It's those who profess friendship which keeps me up at night." He smiled, "You count yourself as a friend of his grace, of course?" he asked, smiling at the obviously loaded question.

"Not at all. He's a proud, notoriously violent, and loud maniac with little respect for most men." he sipped his his drink. "But he's not paranoid, he doesn't butcher women and children, he doesn't claim to be the Warrior's bastard son, and despite his destructive nature in public, I'd say he makes a excellent show of keeping the dissidents in line. I dislike him as a human being, but I still respect him as a king."

"You know the man who said honesty was the best policy? They hanged him." Still Thatcher smiled. Thatcher examined Barclay for a moment. "That is a very nice ring. I should think it will make an excellent family heirloom Lord Frey. For remembrance of your great chivalry." he clearly enjoys the agitated look on the rebel lord's face.

"My first thought was handing it to Mallister as a sort of... gift to commemorate his new holdings. But alas, I'm quite certain he'd see it as the cheap ploy it is... Freys and Mallisters long being the friendly neighbours they are and whatnot." He smiled at what might either be a childhood memory or an unspoken dirty joke.

"You know, I have always wondered if the Frey genealogy's successful economy of coin was directly related to their abysmal economy of words." Thatcher said dryly. "I'm afraid Lord Mallister not so easily purchased. At least not with a coin of that species."
