To make things a bit interesting I rolled to determine the NPC lance stat of those characters that did not have one.
1-25: Apprentice 25-75: Noteworthy 75-99: Expert 100: Master

The joust will consist of three stages.
The first will put the 30 Team White contenders against one another, to whittle their numbers down to 15.
The second will set those winners of the first stage against the men of Team Black. As there are only 12 people on Team Black, the judges will give a pass to three Team White contenders who fare the best onto stage three.
The third stage will involve those left of team white and team black to competing against one another to deem who is the champion in each team for the joust.

'Gargantuan' Garth Toland picked up the expert. I think he's my favourite. I want to see him on the KG.
Edit: Just noticed that this had been rolled already and that he lost to a Master. Guess my endorsement is bad luck.
