OOC: I just didn't want every NPC and their mother coming in. People with a genuine purpose and relationship to the issue are permitted. Princess Emelia would be allowed to pass by the guards, perhaps after a nod from Rhodri.

As Callen listened his face became more and more troubled. "Rhodri, though I do hope and believe that your sister is a woman of virtue, but these claims need be investigated."

Emelia turned to Randal. "Is it true, then, that Barret Tyrell was with you in this cause?" she asked, as her face and voice shifted into the mien of Emelia the Inquisitor: soft, scholarly, menacing and unforgiving.

"It's a lie," Aranya said coldly. "And Lord Barret seems to have been involved in this as well."

"I agree with His Grace this could all be a lie but every claim against some one must be investigated." Tallahar is watching from the corner thinking as much as he can about the proceedings.

"No, not every claim, or I have no doubt that at least half the lordlings in Westeros will soon be accused of some minor crime. But we do investigate the ones that matter, whether or not the accusation comes from a lords liked or disliked."

OOC: That wasn't a reprimend Tallahar, that was mostly Callen speaking to himself. Don't be so harsh on yourself.

Emelia looked around. "Is this what the Andals have become?" she asked, her voice a mixture of anger and disgust. "A bunch of scheming children, playing games in corners to feed their own illusions? Everyone hoping to seize the throne so their own blood can wet its blades?"

Callen looked to Emelia, "All I want is peace, all I want is justice. Although the blood of the Rhoynar runs through you, you still bear the name of an Andal house, we all do, except for the lords in the North, and so we must bear with it."

ooc: I must have been high last night or sometinhg. Alas, i must salvage what i can. I dunno why, but this makes me feel like the Death Eaters in HP 4.

Randal has the desperatre quality of a man who knows that he has made a mistake and now is trying to fix it.
