The King, Aemon Targaryen VI is a pale-golden haired man, generally dressed in reds with a black and gold cloak that is clasped by a small gold dragon brooch. He is generally flanked by Princes Maerys, and Aedon.

Ser Kit Kidwell, known commonly as Kid Death stood in the throne room, at the steps of the Iron Throne with a few of his knights, two of which had quite a bit of reputation to themselves. Ser Andon Gaunt, the younger brother to Ser Ager Gaunt, the old war companion of the Songlord who died at the Rock; Ser "Black" Ben Tollett, who escaped from the public eye recently.
The Kingsguard who stood against Aedon's during his betrayal against his family, now stood around Kit as they discussed the safety of the city. There was still fighting in many parts and the closest reinforcements were to come from Driftmark...that could be days. With only a few hundred Goldcloaks, the rest of their numbers were militia at best. Kit had taken care of his family before he left, and now had just recently sent a letter to perhaps his only other "family", Lord Sylas Caron. If Caron answered Kit's call for 2,000 foot and 1,000 horse, it may take a few more weeks still.
Kit looked up at the great dragon skulls and silently felt a jolt of fright. The walls of King's Landing would be hard to get past, especially with the Blackwater Bay.
He quickly sent orders for all armed city-folk and soldiers to end any fights still ongoing and prepare defenses in the city.

Once again, Kit Kidwell stood in the throne room. This time he was awaiting an audience with Callen.

Aranya started when she saw Elane, but then she saw the corpse and grew quiet. "How did this happen?" she asked.
"Milk Snakes," Elane said, sounding angry and ashamed. "In our own lands. They must have been riding through a remote pass - all other routes through the mountains are watched and guarded. We are so sorry, Your Grace."

Aranya looked at the corpse of Bethany Tyrell. He may not be inclined to bless our marriage, she thought wryly. Suddenly she felt ashamed for being so callous. "I am sorry, Callen," she said gently. "This is a terrible blow."
Aranya's eyes fell on Ser Kit Kidwell curiously, and then on Randal Lannister, but then she returned her gaze to the king, who seemed shocked. "Maybe we should give him his privacy?" she said. "I'm going back to work, Selwyn. I'll see you later tonight."

Callen stared at the body, his mind blank. And then thoughts came flooding through his head. He knew what he had to do. He walked down the steps leading to the Iron Throne, picked up Bethany's shrouded body and began walking out the the castle, not even noticing Kid Death standing there, or the Lannister representative waiting. He exited the gates, and entered the ruins of King's Landing, snow gently falling on his shoulders.

Elane watched him go with trepidation. Who knew what he'd do next?

As he watches Callen leave the Throne Room, Kit decides that it is his time to leave as well. He slowly makes his way back into the ruins of King's Landing.

OOC: I'm assuming we found Maerys' children after we took King's Landing.
Callen had them put Rhae up in a tower overlooking the Blackwater and then returned to the throne room. The place felt cold and dank as winter moved in, and the dragon skulls lining the walls had not yet been removed. All together it made for a dreary place. For a time he looked over a few plans the architects he had found had laid out for him. Drown yourself in work Callen, he thouht, Bethany would want me doing this, helping the smallfolk. He and the architects argued for a while whether or not to take down the Dragonpit in order to make room for more housing, until Callen told them the most important thing at the moment was to clear the rubble and get makeshift housing up to provide shelter to the smallfolk who were out at the camps. When he was finally done with that he took a seat near the base of the throne, court was not in session that day, so there was no need to sit in the damned thing. "Oh, collect the brother's Tyrell and Giles Grandison from the sept, I'll hear their vows in a bit." he told a messanger who immediately nodded and walked off. "I'll meet with the Lannister representative in a bit, and then well do something about finding Kidwell."

Kid Death and his entourage enter the throne room. Ser Andon Gaunt bows before Callen, but the other two knights stand in place.

Callen looked up from the table he was sitting. His eyes did not register suprise as he looked over the three men, his eyes finally resting on Kit. "I would have your head off right now Kidwell, but your wife made me promise I would restrain myself."

Kit was not phased by the King's comment to him. "I understand the gratification you may receive from doing that. I have killed so many.", he called out in a strong voice but strange voice.
