Ser Lyn moved over to Archibald Cressey "Ser, I have seen you play a moment before. Would you care for a match?" "I only play with my friends," Ser Archibald said, as he looked up, "and we have not been introduced. Ser Archibald Cressey, and you are?"

Lord Bealor Dawnrose finally arrives at Court. He wore his finest clothes and had small sword at his hip that looked ceremonial and wouldn't last long in a battle.

Ser Archibald raises a single bushy grey eyebrow. "Master? I didn't get my knees bloody in vigil to be called master. We're I a few decades younger I should meet you on the tourney field for that slip of the tongue Ser." Archibald stares deep into the man's eyes for a long intense period before smiling.
"But I'm older and wiser now. Payne. A good western name. Are you sworn to the Lord Lannister?"

Lyn grinned "I am sorry, Ser Archibald. My house is sworn to Lord Tyberion Lannister but my own sword is sworn to Lord Baldwin Lefford."

"No relation to the old Lord Lefford I take it? Thank the gods, the man was mad as a March hare." Archibald said.

"I did not grow up near the Fish market, your grace," she says with a devilish wink, "but as I remember, the best fisherman remembers the catch that gave them the hardest time, and tugged the longest on their pole, and forgets the buckets of minnows they bring in by the net-full." She pressed herself against him and smiled. "Or, I have heard that his grace is more of a huntsman than a fisherman. Would you rather....mount... the vixen which gave all your best hounds the slip time and again before you finally cornered her? Or some ragged old thing the gameskeeper has drugged to give you easy victory?" She kissed his cheek lightly. "As for other suitors, your grace has the answer in his own question. There are none, for who could possibly compare? I want only the best, your grace." "What you say is true, of hunting. But I have found fucking is much more like feasting." Rodrick replied, "A large table with many dishes makes for a better feast, then just one or two extremely well prepared dishes. Oh sure you want the good dishes, but you also want to taste a little of everything." Rodrick chuckled, "And I will admit you are a beauty, but as in cooking and fighting, I feel practice and experience trump natural talents every day. That and having a true passion for the trade. I am the best with my sword, because I try and kill a man a day." He roared in laughter.

"No relation to the old Lord Lefford I take it? Thank the gods, the man was mad as a March hare." Archibald said. "Oh, old lord Martyn was his uncle. I heard he got quite funny in the head in his last days, which finished in his mad charge." Lyn shrugged his shoulders "Lord Baldwin isn't very much like him."

"I wasn't really in a position to do that. I didn't leave the West for my whole life, I didn't know who was the king with the right claim to the throne. I found out all that afterward when my father died and my eyes opened." "A day late." Yancey shrugged, and walked away.

The cheeky young Frey follows after the Hand, "Speaking of traitors and alibis, I should apologize for my earlier attempts at light talk. I was trying to find a way to build up to the statement, "Sorry I ran off to aid the Riverlands, I didn't know Rodrick meant it literally with the 'keeping an eye on you' business. Most people just settle for elaborate spy networks, I didn't know he wanted to actually watch me all daty. Not that he enjoys it! I'm sure he has more important things on his minds..." Glancing at the woman with the king, "Well, at least bigger. The thing I'm trying to say is, 'I hope leaving King's Landing hasn't lowered my trust value too much.'" He finished, then before Yancey couild respond, he added, "Sorry. Rubbish at parties. Still new at this lording business."

Leanna laughed, "But if a man kills a man a day, he is a fierce fighter. If a woman fucks a man a day, she is a wanton whore. But if she fucks the same man, again and again and again... on the same day? I don't know what they call that. And no cook would complain if a man sampled all the dishes laid before him" She licked her lips, "as long as he leaves room for the choicest meat."

Baldwin walked over to his half brother and sister "Well, Tyberion, I have just been turned down for the position of the master of coins." He sighed

Tyberion shakes his head at his brother. "You're still half a boy, Baldwin, and considering who our father was, what did you expect? Give it time."

"Ah, well, what to say. I will do my best to fill our coffers. I have made some new deals since I came to King's Landing. When will our townhouse be finished?"
