Doran sighs and his face grows blank, but contents himself by glancing around the room. He happens to notice some blood stains and a main or two with a wound.
Damn, looks like we were late for the entertainment.
He soon realizes why everybody is kneeling, in oath to the King and prayer to the Seven. He starts a silent prayer to the Seven, although he soon found it to be a poor way to reach diplomatic compromises.

As the King turned to leave, Ser Monterys Velaryon moved forward, limping slightly. The young Velaryon knelt before the Hand, still clutching his shoulder wound. All could see that the upper arm of Monterys' doublet below his injured shoulder was stiff with rapidly drying blood - courtesy of the late Lord Vance's blade.

I would therefore request that Lord Barclay's holding of Driftmark be removed from him and bestowed upon myself, the legitimate senior heir of House Velaryon, Lords of Driftmark for over five hundred years.
