All through King's Landing a great parade leads the victorious army through and around great shops and pavilions where people are gathered talking, watching and cheering for the soldiers.

Prince Maerys Targaryen is the most regal looking, wearing a golden circlet and black and red scarves due to the chill of early morning. At his side is his Valyrian steel sword, "Horror", which he (according to legend) fought the Warrior for. To punish him, it is said that the god's took away his beloved wife and drove him mad.

Ser Rhodri Royce takes part in the great parade, riding with his Stormland knights -- Ser Brandon Buckler the Stormshield, Ser Felwick Gower, and Lord Cerdric Hasty, and of course the great Lord Sylas Caron.

Rhodri nods in respect to Kid Death, but understands the man does not always seek conversation, and therefore leaves him to himself.

spotting Ser Rhodri, Spear greets him with a grin. "Good to see you my lord. My master sends his greetings, he has ordered me to pledge myself and my fellows to your service, as a gift, he said. Oh and congratulations to your wife as well lord."

"I hope your master is doing well. The fate he suffered was ghastly, and proof that the tyrant Rodrick needed to be thrown down. Please convey my good wishes to him. But your fellows are Royce deserters. I'll not have them amongst my men -- by rights they should lose their heads. They betrayed my cousin Jon and could have cost him his life."

Where is Ser Steffen? Last I heard, he was the pleasure slave of Hightower.

"Aye, he was an hour or so from death when we found him. But Steffen was always good at survivng. As for these lads, there just simple mercenaries i picked up back at the rock. As far as i know the royce deserters died in the battle, they were brave lads though. Nealon Turns to Breyn. "Hes back at the rock, recovering my lord. He sends his gratitude to your kin, Elane and Lilith."

"It still leaves a bitter taste. Seek out Ser Jon and petition his forgiveness, I'll let you test his patience, for I have little. To accept you without his consultation would be an offense to my kin."

Spear winked. "Aye, i thought it would come to that, i came to you first as i know you to be a more tempered man." He scratched the place where his ear had been. "If you could tell me where he is, I'll find ser Jon and seek his forgiveness."

"He's in the parade somewhere, riding with Lord Breyn I think. They rode together in the Battle of Casterly Rock."
