Talgon the smith greets Ryam. "This blade will be the envy of every man in your Sunset Kingdom," he grins, handing the knight a long bundle wrapped in heavy cloth. "Go ahead, look at her. You will not be disappointed."

Ryam unwraps the cloth carefully, exposing the polished sword beneath it, to examine the blade.

The reforged sword is a thing of beauty, near six feet long of rippled and smokey Valyrian Steel. Ryam can tell that the edge is sharp enough to shave with and the blade is lighter than seems possible for so much steel. As per Ryam's request, the hilt is unadorned and functional, wrapped in supple red leather.
Talgon smiles sadly at the blade like a father giving away his daughter on her wedding night.

Ryam notes the sad smile on the Smith's face, and hands him the sack of gold, noticeably larger than the amount they had agreed upon. "You've done incredible work here, Master Uighuro, and my lord will marvel at the perfection of this blade," he said, staring at the sword. Almost reluctantly, he moved to re-wrap it in the heavy cloth. He could not make the package look like much less than a sword, but its value would not be immediately noticeable, as it would be if he carried it openly.
"If you'd forgive my hasty departure, I'm sure my lord will be anxious to receive this. If anyone of the Far Reach ever needs the services of a smith of your caliber, I shall be sure to send them to your shop," he said winking. "Many thanks," the knight added, before turning and leaving the shop.

The smith bows, sighs, then returns to his work.
