(OOC: Representing Francis Varner's tent at the Westerlands Tourney. Surrounding tents are occupied by other Varner men, 100 men-at-arms total.)
A well appointed tent, generously decorated with furs and silk. There is evidence of a woman's touch brought my Lady Anne. The only entrance is the tent flap at the front, guarded by 4 Varner Men-At-Arms in chain mail, and armed with pikes, swords and shields.
Edit: I had the wrong number of men-at-arms. I only brought 100 according to introductory post.

For us to be forgetful of that is to open the Reach for further abuses at the hands of those who wish us ill. You don't see the look on the faces of the councilors. See if perhaps he will gift you with lands to rule. But Uplands answers to to the Hightower, and until Lord Justin is old enough to say otherwise, that means me. We talked about this, in Oldtown, and you said you could accept that. Was that untrue?"

You're an able general and Uncle Rindwynd will honor you with titles and lands I'm sure. We all wish things hadn't gone the way they did, but you can wish in your left hand and shit in your right, and you see which one is filled first."
