"It is not really being announce, but the men are whispering about it." Peregrine glanced at Galahad with just a hint of pity on his face. "What do you think of the situation?"

"It's quite the double bladed sword," Galahad said, his voice heavy.

"It must be stalling the Northern armies from advancing south and upon us... however... I have been around long enough to know of Lord Reed's dark reputation, and I must fear for Rickon's life.." he says, his voice trailing. He had felt the most honor of his position fighting to protect the young Rickon when he was king.

"And what do you think?"

"I think Rickon has royal blood even if he denies it." Peregrine replied, looking at Galahad, waiting for a response.

[Lord Rhaegar Targaryen]

"To that there is no doubt. The man is an example for us all," Galahad said. "Though I believe we are in good graces to our position in this war. Our enemies fight with eachother, and our support only grows each day. It will not be long until these lords throw down their crowns and beg... his grace... for forgiveness," Galahad says before pausing a moment and regarding Ser Peregrin. He looks as though he is about to say something, then holds.

"If he has royal blood, then it is our duty to protect him." Peregrine faced Galahad dead on, "We both agree that the King can not stand you. He does not trust, and would chuckle if you were killed in battle."

Galahad regarded Peregrin with an expressionless face. "You would have me put my death to greater use the, Lord Commander?"

"I would have you not die Galahad. You are better then he thinks, you are just not his kind of man." Peregrine chuckled, "I think it is our duty to witness this duel. We can not interfere, but we must guarantee that it is honorable. For if it is not..."

"Then he stands alone," Galahad says, acknowledging the man's point. "Though why would I be given safe passage in the least?"

"You would not be." Peregrine replied, "This is more stealth, and cunning the brawn and strength. If you do not think you are ready for it, I will send Shadd."

"Would you wish for me to go alone, Lord Commander?"

"No, you should take some men. There are some North, and Valemen in the service of the King. Interview them and take as many as you like." Peregrine said, "This is not a suicide quest Galahad, simply honor's course."

"I would interview the Northmen, first and foremost, Lord Commander," Galahad informned, nodding his consent to the plan. "Though... before I go. What are your full orders? What should I do if Rickon fights fair and loses his battle?"

Peregrine smiled, "If the fight is fair, it is not ours to interfere. Rickon is a man, and a warrior. He would probably kill you for interfering. Only if things are foul should you act."

"As you say," Galahad said, nodding his head.
